i still use fake ages because 1/1/whateverIscrollto is easier then actually scrolling to through to my birthdate.

Even scrolling down to just August is too much of a slut to care about

Admitedly a poor choice of words, after posting I tought I should have editted it to "artificial girl fan" or something.

I'm 41, but I still randomly fill that crap out because, as others have said, it's just too much damn trouble trying to scroll through everything to put my real birthdate.

Tho most of the time, I just have Replay Media Catcher running. Many of these sites start buffering the video behind the age-check, so it will latch on and record the whole video to your computer in far less time then it takes to watch without you having to click/enter anything. Bypass the age check, and can watch the video when I want with a REAL player (like VLC) with no pauses, skips, lag, etc.. Win-win there if you ask me.

4/11/ WHAT THE FUCK EVER, LET ME SEE THIS TRAILER scrolls later.

I use my real birth, and day of birth, but entering my year is not as fun as being from the 15th century.

I've used 2nd Feb 1963 since things started asking for my age. I then told them to fuck off and used Youtube. On some sites, it makes sense. But when you are logged in on the Escapist, and it still asks for you to confirm your birth date? Sod right off.

i feel old, i never had to enter a fake age to see game trailers well that and i almost never watch game trailers since its more about word of mouth and a written description that get me to buy a game which in its self might be considered old school

Never. I am 37. I remember the birth of the web and the beta release of NCSA Mosaic in the early 90s, and I was already legally old enough to shag, drink, drive and vote. Not all at once, mind.

Never, because they only brought that crap in after I was already 18.

Seriously why does a trailer need to have 18+ material in it, wtf?

1/1/ along time ago, if the site allows me I actually say that I was born during WWII or WWI.

I never know if they're doing UK date (d/m/y) or US date (m/d/y) so I generally just go 12/12 and then scroll to whatever year. Even though I'm 19 I never put my real birthdate in - this is just easier.

When you were too young to watch game trailers legitimately and you had to enter a fake age?

Personally, I used to set it to the 31st of February because the computer didn't realize that it wasn't a real date.
I've never "had" to fake an age for these things, they're not even that old.

I always do though, it's just quicker.
