My immune system holds up pretty good. That being said i've missed two days of college cause i've been curled up in the fetal position downing pills between unexpected and unplanned naps.

Oh and there should be a middle option for the poll me thinks.

My imune system is totally badass-awesome. If i get a common cold, i am down for about a night... maybe a day. The last time i really was sick was about... hm maybe ten years ago (Measles... got it late). Hell, i even have had no caries or such. (complete natural teath, no hole, no pain)

Well and i got ONE infection, when i had an open wound at work. But other than that, i have a Wolverine-like regeneration against toxins and diseases. Too bad my body isn't that cool (I haven't trained in years and break into sweat and heavy breathing when i am going up the stairs *g*)

So where is the poll option for: neigh-imune against everything?

I'm almost never sick. Maybe once every three years, and then just a little cold. Allergies are a ***** though.

i've got a good immune system, last time i got sick was due to food poisoning and before that it was several years. i hardly go to the doctor and when i do it's usually due to some sort of odd thing and he gets to show me off to the other doctors in his office or the training students he has there

I rarely get sick. Course I was sick with flu/cold-like symptoms for three months a couple years ago. Had to get surgery for that.

My diseases range from either a mildly inconveniencing period of the sniffles that usually lasts for a few days up to a week or two, to sudden bouts of usually the flu that build up for a day or so, then put me entirely out of commission for exactly half a day after which my immune system has driven out the invader and declares victory. There's almost no middle ground, and nothing worse has ever happened to me. (I did have to go to the hospital a few times, but one time I had a broken wrist and the second time was the umpteenth time I had an ingrown toenail, so I've never been to the hospital for a disease, and I only relatively rarely have to go to the GP.)

I haven't gotten sick for a while. It's usually no more than once a year. I just have to do something about my hands a feet being so amazingly cold every winter (the rest of my body is fine)

My immune system does really well, considering the minimal amount of sleep I get every night.

I don't understand my damn immune system. From Spring through Fall. No illness ever touches me. However as soon as it hits October I instantly get some weak cold that never goes away until the end of Winter.

I heard that women have better immune systems than men, owing to the fact they have a greater amount of white blood cells (men have more red cells as their muscles tend to be denser and more oxygen-hungry). Can anyone with a medical or biological back ground confirm or dismiss this?

your poll needs more options, because I haven't been sick in several years. In fact, after I got well after my bout with Meningitis/pneumonia, I haven't been sick.

I haven't really been sick for yéars. Some...bowel problems, so to speak (no not vomiting), every now and then, but that's all. So I guess my immune system is pretty good.

You should add an option for me, I never get ill (unless food poisoning counts)

I don't get sick very often. When I'm coming down with something or might catch a bug, I eat a bunch of raw garlic with my food and never seem to get sick, even when my family members are hacking up vital bodily organs.

I think I have a strong immune system, rarely do I get sick and when I do it's never for more than a few days.

It's damn effective, apparently, which is a tad ironic for someone born with heart disease. As far as I can remember, it's been five years since I've actually been sick. Even with people around me with colds and viruses (I live in my college's dormitory), I don't even get a hot forehead.

And I've never had the flu.

I love my immune system.
