I'm tanned enough on the parts not covered by my daily wearing of t-shirts, shorts and sandals. Everything else is pretty damn pasty white. Winter's around the corner though so I'll be back to one uniform colour in no time.

I only go outside a few times a week anyway, much less during summer vacation
I remember that it was actually hot in the sun a couple of times

I have some tan, like on my arms and face, but I'm very white.

I burn before I get any sort of tan, and I'm amazed I have as much sun as I have.

I went to California for two weeks, and went for a several-mile bike ride almost every day.

I still have the deep tan from then, and despite having a tan line from my shirt/shorts, my chest is still pretty damn tan too.

I started taking off my shirt when I mow the lawn in a vague attempt to get a (Laugh) good tan this summer.

What I've ended up with is a tanned back and a mostly white chest and belly, largely because I'm overweight. Don't ask--you don't want to know.

On the plus side I've lost about twenty pounds this summer. No where near slim waisted and sexy but getting better by the week.

P.S. No Aussies or Kiwis are allowed to complain about it being winter. Got it? Good.
Cause usually it's warm enough here in Australia you can go to the beach and get some sunbathing done even if it is winter.

To answer your question I choose sunburn. In one of life's bitter ironies I live in the skin cancer capital of the world and my skin burns under the light of the silvery moon! CURSE YOU DAYSTAR!!!!!

I have a light tan left over from my vacation- which means I've got the awkward bikini top tan line around my neck. But even when I am at my tannest, I tend to make Casper the friendly ghost look tan. The trials of being a ginger.

It's winter so I spend all my time inside.

However, I don't like tanning anyway. Just doesn't look good.

I'm black.

edit: Just typing words here so I don't get in trouble for a low content post. I guess I could say I'm a "burnt" level of tanned but it technically isn't a burn.

For medical reasons, I haven't got out much the last couple of years. I'm so white I get mistaken for a Twilight vampire in direct sunlight.

I'm whiter than a snowman mummy covered in Tipp-Ex and milk.
I don't tan at all, I rarely leave the house. I'm kinda like a vampire in that regard; I can't stand the sunlight, and prefer to stay inside.

We had 3 days of sunshine in the Netherlands this summer, and I didn't go on holiday (yet). Those 3 days I was outside most of the time though, so I managed to get the slightest of tans. I'm sure'it'll wash off before long.

I'm mildly tanned and I'm in Australia, but I'm a gardener so I'm outside a lot.

Well, I'm half-filipino so I have a natural skin color similar to that of a moderately-tanned white guy. Though it's the summer now, so I guess I'll choose burnt sienna.

Pale, with decent amounts of farmers tan. I'm a nerd by nature and I spent most of my time away from work in front of my computer, but I do have to do a fair bit of traveling in the sun, thus the farmers tan.

I'm currently on an extended trip through SE Asia, so I have notable tan lines on my arms and shoulders from wandering about sights 'n' scenes in a t-shirt or a strappy top. I never wear shorts though, so my legs are still paper-white, though this may change once I have frequent access to beaches. The most hilarious are my feet - I have brown rectangles and brown toes from wearing sandals a lot. :p Luckily I do tan fairly well, but I managed to get my shoulders burnt quite badly in China, since then I've been more cautious and quicker to grab the sun-screen when heading out...
