I already have my supplies ready shotgun, molotov, pickup truck with minigun attachment....I'm ready and I'm gonna go off with a bang.

Give me a shotgun and sniper rifle, I'll camp out on the highest floor of the highest building, picking off zombies before they consume my flesh.

Well I'd base my whole Tactic on the Zombie Survival Guide. A book that's focusing entirely on surviving this event. It's from the same bloke who wrote World War Z (awesome book by the way)

So here goes
Weapons: Carabine .22 Caliber and a crossbow if I have to take sb down quietly
Hideout: I'm from Germany so because of our Topography I'd say I'd head into the mountains
Companions: Probably some of my old school buddies, one of them is in the military and this should be helpful
Where: s.a.
Supplies: that would be a tricky one probably raiding as we race for the mountains and hunting with the crossbow so as not to alert the Zombies
Anything else will be a question of how much time you'll have to prepare for your flight

a silanced 9mm 50 rounds
A lobo(entrenching tool)
a Damascus FlexForce? Riot Control Suit

Hideout- I'll have a cabin in the woods outide of town, with food water and ammo.

Companions -two friends who are in on the plan

as soon as things die down we'll move to the nearest millitary base

Suplies- Hiking backpack, Camel pack, water purifyer pills, flairs, flashlight, climbing gear 100ft, a bike, first aid kit, swiss army knife, and a bedroll.

Well, since they are shamblers they arent much of a threat really. What I will do however is to find and raise a number of the beetles they use to clean flesh off of bones. Then get myself a nice defensable area and unleash my scarab plague upon the undead masses!


Now, if it were fast movers thats another story.


However I will say my perfect zombie apacolypse would include a mixture of both, just to keep people on their toes.

I would find my self a nice big intact castel, get myself a load of sniper rifles, mostly barrats and L96s'. A few L85As' loads of hand grenades. Enough food and water to last me 200 years, a tank, a helicopter, loads of hot girls, and a the launch codes to the worlds nuclear arsenal.
All this would be on the moon of course where i would be emporer after unleashing the zombie plauge upon the earth

Offcourse, id try to stay away from the zombies as much as possible. If I had to fight some id rely on bludgeons. Their the most reliable and effective by far. Guns require maintenance and ammunition. Without it their useless. so in my opinion your better off with a solid baseball bat, fire axe or sledge. Aim for the head, destroy the brain.

Wouldn't work. You'd run out of children before they start to trust you.

That's why you also need old people. Old people and children mean about twice as much food and twice the chance to get the zombies on your side.
