i can think of few things I'd rather be doing then sleeping. Moreso when memorable dreams are involved.

I have insomia and chronic nightmares but when i don't have nightmares its like an acid trip with a side of shroom.

It's ok then i guess...

If I could control when I fall asleep and require just a couple of minutes to fell recharged again it would certainly be better

I enjoy sleeping. I just wish I didn't have to do it so much. 8 hours a day feels like a massive waste of time. Back in high school, I could sleep 2 hours a night for 4-5 days without ever feeling overly tired. After a full 8 hours one night, I'd be ready to start the process over again. Now I need at least 5-6 hours a night just to function every day and I feel drowsy all day if I get less than 8 or so several nights in a row. It's annoying.

I absolutely hate it. It severely cuts into my limited free time, and once I'm asleep, it's hard to get out of bed... so I end up sleeping a lot longer than I'd like.

Not to mention that going to sleep means the next day will start, which generally means another shit day of work.

I hate it, the prospect of lying down still for 8 hours when i could be doing something fun or productive isn't a very attractive one.

I never feel as tired as i should either. I can be falling asleep all day but as soon as i get into bed i turn hyperactive and can't close my eyes.

I hate going to sleep but once I am asleep I don't want to wake up.

Edit :

I hate going to bed because it cuts into personal free time.

But I love sleeping in because it's relaxing.
Wow, my sentiments summed up in the first response...

I love sleeping - just ask anyone who's tried to wake me up. It feels like I could sleep forever.

Going to sleep however is a whole different matter. Sure it's nice when you are dog tired to just collapse onto a nice bed and drift off, but usually at night I am doing something, like watching TV or playing games or even visiting the escapist like I am right now. Doing something that I enjoy and don't want to stop - usually I end up having to drag myself away from the screen (or my GF ;) ) at some stupidly late hour and hope I don't have to get up early the next morning (thankfully at the moment I don't have many commitments).

As it is I have basically gotten myself into a routine of getting up late and going to bed late - so sort of like a normal timetable just shifted back a few (or a lot of) hours. I work shifts, most of which are late ones so it's working out pretty well at the moment.

I love sleeping! I mean, DREAMING, how could one NOT love that?

I guess the biological need to sleep is somewhat limiting, but remember, EVERYONE needs sleep, so it's not like it's a personal weakness.

I love sleeping, its so interesting how your brain makes up little movies/plays to amuse itself. Also it refreshes me for the next day.

I love sleeping. Sure its a waste of time, but its my life, i can do whatever I want with my time. Sleeping is just so relaxing.

But TRYING to go to sleep is FUCKING annoying! THAT is a waste of time.

I sleep 12 hours a day.

I wish I didn't, but my mind and body are constantly at odds with eachother.

*8 hours of sleep and a trip to the bathroom later*

Mind: Hey Shock! Go back to sleep! You're not doing anything today!
Me: I don't ever do anything.
Mind: That just means there's more time for sleeping!
Me: Can't argue with that logic.

*2 hours later*

Mind: Hey Numbnuts! Why are you awake? Go back to sleep fool!
Me: But I'd rather do something else.
Body: Yeah, we gotta get up and moving. Gogogogogogo
Mind: Fuck off Body.
Body: You can't force him to sleep
Mind: Oh yes I can!

*2 hours of forced sleep later*

Body: That's it. Hey asshole!
Me: Buh?
Body: Have some crippling pain! Get your ass up!
Me: Gah!

Repeat every single day since age 13.
