It's the fifth highest rates game of all time on Metacritic? So you think that Skyrim will be a bad game?mgirl said:No. Absolutely not. The metacritic score says nothing about how good the game will be, and certainly doesnt immediately reward the game with GOTY status.
And why would that be? Because you haven't played it?Satsuki666 said:Metacritic scores have absolutely nothing at all to do with the quality of a game. That being said it most likely will get game of the year from somebody. Would I say it is game of the year quality? Hell no not in a million years.

Your post implies that Skyrim is guaranteed to get GOTY, which I disagree with. I don't believe that metacritic scores are accurate either, since nearly every big new release gets a ton of praise.
Will it be a bad game? Probably not, but even then, opinion can vary massively. A game that somebody hates can also be a game that somebody loves.

That you should make your titles more descriptive.
Skyrim will be some people's GOTY. It will not be other people's GOTY. In the future, Bethesda will release a Skyrim GOTY Edition with all the DLC/expansions alongside it. Water is wet, and I look good in a suit.

If skyrim got GOTY I would disagree, but then, I don't like that sort of game.Kyle1527 said:Safe to say means I think it's more than likely, not guaranteed. The thing is, most people will agree about GOTY.
