That you should make your titles more descriptive.
Skyrim will be some people's GOTY. It will not be other people's GOTY. In the future, Bethesda will release a Skyrim GOTY Edition with all the DLC/expansions alongside it. Water is wet, and I look good in a suit.

On the contrary, it's a fantastic example for exactly that reason. Although, if we're going to step back to reality there are just under a billion accounts, not billions upon billions. It is insanely popular because it's convenient, but between security holes, lack of concern for user privacy, and really, really crappy public relations, it's just not a good website. But it's popular anyway. Which proves my point, just because people like it doesn't make it good.Jove said:terrible example since facebook is basically the king of all social networking sites today with billions upon billions of people using it.DiMono said:Just because people like it doesn't make it good. I don't like facebook because of their lack of stance in privacy but that's just the way it is.
Actually there are many games this year (for example The Witcher 2) that look much better than Skyrim. Open world doesn't make it look better than other games. Many people seem to think like that. Well i think that sadly, Skyrim will be getting some GOTY awards only because of the massive amount of hype and just because it's a new elder scrolls gameKyle1527 said:Heavy-bias? No. I just don't understand what other game could be better, from all the games I've played this year...none of them even look as good as Skyrim. Again, 52 reviews can't all be wrong. But whatever, some people are convinced about a game no matter what other people say. If the game got 7/10 we wouldn't be here. So no bias.
