Okay on the premise of this Guy/girl REALLY did their homework and hacked every single little tid bit of info I've ever disclosed online. The recognized in public one.
I don't really trust the internet as far as I can throw it, it's a dangerous and yet passionate relationship I have, me and ol' WWW.

Also theres approximately 19 other people with my exact name, middle name and surname that use the internet, I'm not too worried about giving it. And frig my IP address is more of a give away than my stupid /name/ of all things.

This poll is a little bit redundant since it requires knowledge of 'who' is finding out this info. Random person with passing interest? Never. Obsessive Stalker? Possible but still no dice. Government? They will reach through your effing screen right now. '-' Super cerial.

It varies. There are some people I know on the internet who I trust as much as anyone I know in real life. See, I've been part of a couple of fan communities, so, in places like that, you get to know people pretty well, but it's a gradual process. But, I mean, once you spend time Skyping with people, you get pretty comfortable.

If I'm on a big site I won't give out as much information about myself, but I'm not a person who keeps a lot private anyway. I guess if anybody really cared they could figure out a lot about me from looking through my posts, but, still, since the internet offers so much anonymity, it still makes my identity pretty vague. =P

EDIT: My vote was 'To be recognised in public', because, even though no one on this site knows me particularly well, on other sites I have a bit of a following, and I've given out enough info so that I can bump into online friends of mine if we visit each other's countries. =3

The only ones who can see my Facebook are people in my network and my friends. I leave my phone number and b-day off though (the second is really unnecessary). Here and on games, I'm more or less anonymous.

You caught me, I'm Sam "Mother F***in" Jackson with a wallet that says "Bad Mother F***er".

In all seriousness, my real life friends don't know my actual address although I'm sure they could find out if they really wanted to :S.

Online you can have my first name, town I live in, age, and on a couple of social network sites there exist photos, everything else I say is me, my opinion or experiences. I've never understood making yourself into different people on line, this is a way for me to convey my thoughts and so on with the wider world, I get no enjoyment from being Ting Mai the 65 year old female Mongolian lemon farmer...

Whatever floats in the individuals boat I guess.

Meh have all my details, I don't particularly care.

As long as it doesn't cost me money, its fair game.

Depends what website they're from really.

I'd give someone from my community or here my facebook if they wanted. [small]Infact, I have before =P[/small]
But if say, someone from 4chan wanted it I wouldn't give it them. At most I'd give them my steam.

Normally I do not talk about myself on the internet, however I feel safe here to talk about myself and my life.

I'm not too pushed about what people see on my profiles, it just varies from site to site depending on how lazy I was when I registered. Since most of the people viewing it live in foreign countries anyway I doubt even putting down my home address would matter. Besides, I'm not interesting enough to get stalked anyway.
