I'm gonna go with 50% better.
I like spiders and other insects, so that would suck.
Killing people is stupid.
Immortality would be awesome for a while, but would really fucking suck after the first few centuries. But then again, exploring the universe and the center of the world because I can't be killed, would be pretty sweet. But then again, being stuck inside a sun because I got sucked in, would suck =|
My sleeping schedule is already WTF and I enjoy sleep, so I won't go with that one. It'd be my 2nd choice.
$40 a day? That is pretty gay. If it was more I'd consider it, but it is not really that much.
Well that one is just called piracy. This one is the worst out of all of them because I would still have to go out and see them, wait for them to be made, etc.
So +50% life skills it is.

Yeah Im gonna go with the 50% better at everything option X)

Pest-ward sounds cool but not as great
I dont think there's anyone I want to die, so the 2nd one is wasted on me
Immortality would suck ass
Not needing sleep would be awesome but Id miss it =/ Getting into bed at the end of the day is the greatest feeling if you are really tired.
40 dollars a day is great now but it'll not be as great when I have my degree and can earn more than that.
Free games and movies sounds cool too - but I only have so much time to play/watch them! The 40 dollars option is more useful than that!
Helicopter thing sounds cool too - but not as cool as...

50% faster, stronger, smarter, wiser!!! XD

I think to balance the options more, you should've made it 25-30% =P

I'd take the indestructible and not aging one as long as there is a way to kill myself once everything is done. If I couldn't die... It would be a tough decision. Either that or the never sleep perk.

It was a toss up between 2, 4, and 8. I ended up going with 8 since I think it would allow me to do 2 and 4 to a limited degree but also help other stuff.

I don't care much for my family, don't really have any good friends, no loved ones either for that matter, so indestructible and unable to age would fit me nicely. After all, if I'm indestructible I can do some crazy shit and survive. still, I would be able to do myself in, since indestructible =/= immortal. I could probably drown myself if I really wanted to. though if it's indestructible on a cellular level that may complicate it a bit as my body would not suffer from lack of oxygen. Oh well, then I guess I eill finally get to see that view from the end of the world I always dreamed about.

50% Better hands down. I'm already pretty damn strong and smart, adding half again on to that would be pretty great.
I was tempted by the peak condition one though, particularly if it means you never tire (ie can run nonstop assuming food/water) but can still build muscle. Also how would that affect aging?
Just off the descriptions, 50% better but the peak fitness/no sleep and the immortality are tempting, though there'd need to be a way out of immortality, or it becomes http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AndIMustScream eventually.

Let's see:

No insects/spiders/rats/pest would ever come near you, they are always 100 yards away.

Useless. While I have no particular desire to be near these things, it's easy (and rare) enough for me to handle. And some insects fascinate me. Maybe if I could turn it on and off, but not when I can only pick one.

The law allows you to kill anyone you hate, with no charges whatsoever.

No. Just no. If I ever killed anyone, I'd want to do it properly; so they'd never figure out it was me.

Present friends, family, loved ones dies but you are indestructible and cannot age.

Only if I could off myself when I got tired of it all. Even then, not with some of the alternatives on this list.

You do not need to sleep, your body and mind are always at 100%.

YES YES YES!!! Even if the question was what ability out of anything imaginable we could have, this would be all I need. (well, if this were an 'any power at all' deal; I'd throw in not needing to eat/drink/breathe as well)

However, I demand to be able to sleep if I ever want to; preferably with unaffected perception of the world around me and control of when I wake up. Even without the latter, give me the listed ability and still being able to sleep.

Get 40 dollars each day for the rest of your life.

Get a job. Of course, this is presumably in addition to any existing income, which would definitely make life a bit easier.

Games and movies are free to you from now on but if you tried selling them or have someone else do it, you die.

I actually prefer when the people behind good games get their due.

Helicopter servant that could take you anywhere for the rest of your life.

Cool, but would get boring.

You are 50% faster, stronger, smarter, and wiser.

First, how do you measure Wisdom? This isn't D&D.

Second, an above poster argued that you could get 50% more done in a day with this as opposed to ~30% more with not needing sleep. To that I say: You'd be suprised at how many things require time. Not efficiency (though that helps), but time.

No matter how good you are at your job, you still have to get there and back home; and 50% faster probably doesn't apply to the speed limit.
Do you work in an office? That meeting is still going to last three hours.
Work behind a counter at a store? Try going fast there and watch as the customers tell your manager you're trying to get rid of them.
Food service? The stuff still needs to cook.

That said, this would be my second choice if I could pick two. Best of both worlds.

Immortality, for sure, with the annotation that I will want to be able to consciously kill myself. Immortality forever seems like the worst curse imaginable.

The money daily is tempting but being indestructibe plus my weapon of choice means I could just steal and kill to my hearts content, making three of those options void. It doesn't matter how long I sleep because I have eternity. +50% strength and intelligence is useless when I don't have much of either to begin with. I wouldn't be the strongest nor the smartest. Helicopter? Meh, gimmick. Pests I don't mind.

So yes, I'll take invincibility and immortality. Sorry friends and family.

It's clearly a toss up between the no sleep and the 50% better one, but I'd definitely go for no sleep. People applying simple mathematical models to this (1/3 more time vs 50% better) are forgetting one very important thing - You'd be at 100% all of the time! Also, I'm pretty awesome but I imagine people exist who are 50% stronger, faster, smarter and wiser than me. Pretty sure there's no one who doesn't need sleep...

I would pick not sleeping.
It was either that or +50% to everything. Here's why:

I use up the majority of my day doing nothing, really. An extra 6-8 hours would really help me do other stuff. Not to mention, I'm ALWAYS at 100%.
Which means if I go to the gym, I won't run out of energy/breath/over-exert myself, meaning I use that time more efficiently.
In the morning, I can't concentrate because I'm tired/haven't fully woken up yet. That's a big problem when I'm in school, and at work (especially as I'm trying to decide between medicine and law, which both need you to be really alert). If I'm always at 100%...
Now that I'm not slipping behind in school, and I'm a lot stronger and more agile and faster, I still have an extra 8 hours. 8 hours in which I can study.

Not to mention the technicalities. If I'm at 100%, then that means I have no memory losses. So I would have perfect recall. I couldn't get sick at all. Technically, I would be indestructible, immortal and couldn't age either, because injuries, ageing and death all bring you down from your permanent 100%.

50% improvement, I thought about the insect/rodent repellent but I think I would rather be stronger, smarter, and wiser.

Not to be a nit-picky bastard but those aren't perks; they're cheats. You don't have to change your title but those are waaaaaaaaaaay to generous to be perks.

Anyway that said, I picked the stamina/endurance one. No more sleep for me!! I'd get a second part-time job which would net me more than the $40-a-day perk so it would be like picking that one too. Gotta work, Gotta get money, Gotta hoard money so I can buy classic games and consoles so I can retire at 40 and spend the rest of my life doing more or less the same thing as the AVGN and, Yahtzee while simultaneously not giving a shit!

It's got to be either the immortality of the 50% increase, but the former is heavily conditional.

If for example, I got to choose the cause of death, I'd be more willing to consider it - I'd go with old age or something and not feel bad about it. Additionally, the indestructibility would have to be detailed - is it like Jack Harkness? Am I simply turned into a living statue forever? can I still be poisoned, just not destroyed? It's too ambiguously worded to agree too.

I'd be more than happy to have the 50% bonus with no downside however, so I think I'd just go with that. Though I'd be curious as to how "50% smarter and wiser" works. Is my IQ increased by half? how do you increase wisdom without experience?

The never sleeping, always at 100% however could be pretty useful. I don't know if it'd be as useful as the 50% increase, but it's definitely something I'd think twice before passing up.

I can always do myself in if it gets a bit much

the killing thing I dont see working out well for anyone
Well you're indestructible. I don't think you could do yourself in, you'd be stuck.
freeze yourself on some barren planet then.
