I'd take the pill and turn myself into a female, I'd probably put myself in a stage of a couple of days with a period and the rest of the time without it just to see what the full spectrum would be. After the week is up really... it'd be dependent on how great and or terrible it was being the opposite gender if it was better than being a male I'd take the permanent pill and visa versa.

My greatest concern would be the fact that changing genders would incredibly awkward for everyone who knows you. Having seen how my mom's family and a friend's family dealt with it when one of their members had a sex change, I'm not sure I could take that kind of derision and resentment from my friends and family.

If those consequences never arise, I'd probably at least do it for a week. Just to see what it was like. I'd decide at the end whether or not to keep it permanent.
Like I said earlier, for this scenario, the pill can be coded to change how you look so that you aren't just the female version (or male version) of "you". You can look however you want.

It is possible though to be homosexual and transgender. For example, if you were MtF transgender and were attracted to other women.
That pretty much describes me right there. MtF, into girls, all that jazz. I get hit on both both sexes though, so that is... that's a thing.
Not to offend, but you're giving me a headache... so complicated, hahahahah.
If you don't mind me asking, how so?
It was just a lame joke.

Like I imagined you saying it a particular way that struck me as humorous.
Ah. Well, chuckle away, I guess :p

No because a week is too long.
I would do it if it lasted less than 24 hours then sure why the hell not. Of course there would have to be no negative effects in any way for me to do that.

There's a fairly good chance that all the ladies taking the pill will become dysfunctional lunatics, for a good duration of the time.

No... I'm not calling women weak. It's just... that damn testosterone. It's essentially the body's natural steroids, and a key component in muscle building. Men with higher than average testosterone levels are also considerably more aggressive and horny. Women makes the stuff as well, of course, but the difference between male production and female production is about 20 fold. That is, men, on average, make 20 times more testosterone then women (and women wonder why men are always horny). Trans gendered female-to-male people, take testosterone to acquire masculine traits and there are reports of increased libido, especially shortly after injections.

Now, just imagine have a switch flip inside you, that's not only gonna turn you into a male, but with a 20 fold increase in testosterone, all the time.

Likewise, with men, imagine having that production flow practically shut off.

I don't know, but for most people, I'd imagine that you'd spent most of the week being incredibly confused and hormonal.

But then again, what do I know?

Still... I'll admit it... I'd be curious enough to try the week pill. It would probably be during a time period when I can get away with it, though. Where any possible complications wouldn't get in the way of my life. So probably during a vacation from work, where no family obligations are required.

Absolutely, should be interesting. I appreciate being a woman but I'd like things from a mans perspective and to see what they talk about away from women.
After reading your post, I asked my male friends what they talk about when I'm not around and they unanimously said, "The same things we talk about when you're around." So, either, men are incredibly dull all the time, or they think I'm a man. Considering I caught three of them in a very loud debate about Solid Snake, I'm going to with the former.

As for the OT, I don't think there's much point to it is there? For me, I mean. I am a woman, I feel like a woman (cisgendered, then, I guess) so if I took the pill I'd just feel like a woman, but I'd have a dick. I don't want a dick. If I did, I know where they sell them.

Just a thought, but if the effects wear off in a week, why do you need a second pill to change back? To make sure it works 100%, and not crap out halfway?

There's no question I'd take it, because it's a new experience that doesn't take too much effort. I mean, I want to scuba dive, but I have to get over my water apprehension and actually take classes. And I know it sounds terrible, but I'd have to see what I look like as a female before committing. I feel gender isn't really a big part of my identity, so I theoretically wouldn't have to worry so much in that regard. It's mostly the looks. If I end up like my sister, I could deal, whereas if I look more like my mother, I'd probably swap back. Women have a socially harder time of it than men do anyway, at least if you're better looking, it's easier to adjust (and I hate myself for using this) your "privilege level".

TL;DR: Yes to pill, unsure of permanency.

I'd take the pill and make it permanent, because it would beat mutilating my body for a lifelong affair with denial.

I'd rather be unhappy in a working body, than slightly better off with my parts ripped inside out which is all we currently have. And since best results are achieved when done before you should legally be able to make such a decision for yourself and cost a fortune...I'd rather take the pill.

Of course I'd want it to also change my eye color, my hair color, and other such conditionals. I mean as long as we are messing with chromosomes, why not?

Then, I'd probably make a living with a website showing me and my bi and lesbian friends going at it on webcam. Or simply pouring milk on ourselves, because guys will pay to watch a girl do pretty much anything.

Seriously, if you are female, have a webcam, and you aren't too ugly you can make a living just sitting in front of your cam and threaten that there may be brief nudity. You don't even need to do anything, people will pay for that shit.

No one wants to see a guy do anything.

But an even more interesting question would be if you would take a pill that made you both genders, like a futanari.

If I did it, I know the first thing I'd do is see how the female orgasm feels. Multiples? Yes, please.

I actually think it would be cool to do with another girl. She could take the pill too and we could satisfy our curiosity together, I suppose. Maybe another girl to stay a girl and see how that goes as well. This would definitely be an exploration of carnal desires for me. No lofty "seeing how the other half lives" for me. And no period either.

Actually, I might consider it just to know what jilling off feels like, but outside of that, I'm fine with my current gender.
*starts thinking about the cheesy dialog in the original Resident Evil*

Yep, it's confirmed; I play too many video games.

OT: I'll take the one-week pill and leave it at that. I like my body as-is but I've got nothing better to do for the rest of the week.

Sure I will take the pill. I have often sat around while I was bored or had the occasional dream about. Its something that peeks my curiousity, most likely because its something I would probably never find out. As to the staying it, I honestly have no clue. THe thing about me is I dont really care and like I said I thought about it before. If i like it and its seems more cool then sure otherwise meh might as well stick with my current self

I'd likely take it to try it out. It's only after that week that I'd decide to keep it or not. Of course, one important factor is the various life implications of just... ya'know, suddenly switching genders. If those weren't a factor for whatever reason, I'd be more willing to consider permanency than if it's not.

I would totally change into a woman for a week. Can't see doing it for longer than that, though. I like being a guy, and being hit on by other guys would be awkward as crap. Although, if I could take a pill that would make other women make the first move, or just make me less shy asking women out, I would down that sucker faster than greased lightning.

Do tell...

I suspect that might have something to do with the raging testosterone some of us have. I seem not to have been one of those (that I know of), but I still get a little crazy sometimes.

You can figure out for yourself what I mean by that. :p

And in my experience, we don't talk about much unless there is a goal behind it. Most men are not great with small talk, myself included.

So many good quotes to respond to, but I'll limit myself to this one.

These topics always have a rather bewildering trend of guys thinking that becoming a woman, and therefore a lesbian, turns life into a non-stop sex-venture, as if all we do is throw ourselves at eachother with the slightest provocation. I've yet to experience this for myself.

I would probably take the temporary pill just for the sake of experiencing what, if any, change in perspective might come from it. A consequence-free absolutely reversible look into another gender is the sort of thing that would not really be passed up lightly.
Though beyond a temporary change of perspective, I have no real interest in experiencing life as a male. I'm quite comfortable with my current set-up, and I very much doubt my girlfriend would be very much approving about a sudden change in anatomy.

EDIT: the week pill. I enjoy being a laaaydee.
In my experience men usually talk about their hobby, sex, or something random they learned about.

There are exceptions but that's kinda how my life has always been. No matter the dude, it always comes back to one of those 3 things and I figure that's fine.
