Voted yes and stay in the poll because I hate being male, but after thinking about it, I'm not sure I'd stay as one. Reason being that I'd be a whore lol. I mean, as a gay male my options for guys to sleep with are severely limited. Being a female would just make it too easy to get laid way too much. It just wouldn't be healthy.

Actually,

Can't I be a dick girl in this scenario?
I second this option. That sounds like a good time lol.

Considering I'm already doing pretty much that, the answer is fairly obvious. :p Estrogen is much more pleasant than testosterone, despite migraines, mood swings and so on.

Boobs. ^^

For a week? sure. Permanent? Considering my increasing hatred for anything associated with my gender I'd definitely consider it so maybe.

I'm female by the way.

I'd want to take the one week option for the same reasons many people have already outlined.

But nobody seems to have considered the practical issues. I would feel pretty awkward telling my parents and siblings that i'll be a girl for the week, and then i'll have to tell my friends as well and arrange to send pictures so they can recognise me after the change. I'll also have to buy female clothes- most likely before the change has taken place in preparation which will be odd, feel rather awkward and you won't know what sort of body you'll get after the change- and also learn how bra's work. I expect i'll have to rely on the assistance of my female friends for those points!

I'd give it a shot, see how things pan out, and then decide whether I'd want to make it permanent.

Absolutely, should be interesting. I appreciate being a woman but I'd like things from a mans perspective and to see what they talk about away from women.
After reading your post, I asked my male friends what they talk about when I'm not around and they unanimously said, "The same things we talk about when you're around." So, either, men are incredibly dull all the time, or they think I'm a man. Considering I caught three of them in a very loud debate about Solid Snake, I'm going to with the former.

As for the OT, I don't think there's much point to it is there? For me, I mean. I am a woman, I feel like a woman (cisgendered, then, I guess) so if I took the pill I'd just feel like a woman, but I'd have a dick. I don't want a dick. If I did, I know where they sell them.
A load of guys are saying they talk about sex, which they don't do in front of me. Everything else they talk about, they treat me like one of the lads most of the time, we'll talk about games or hobbies although I do give them advice on women.
My boyfriend says him and his friends "don't really" talk about their sex lives but I'm certain they do, I usually do things for him that men only dream of so I know he won't be able to resist bragging, LOL. They all seem to know what we get up to as well :s

Do tell...

I suspect that might have something to do with the raging testosterone some of us have. I seem not to have been one of those (that I know of), but I still get a little crazy sometimes.

You can figure out for yourself what I mean by that. :p

And in my experience, we don't talk about much unless there is a goal behind it. Most men are not great with small talk, myself included.
I want to know why some men are so... cold. They just seem "Girl A likes me and I like girl A cos she has a vagina! I shall use this! But now here's girl B and she also has a vagina! I've upset girl A because she loves me but I don't care because I'm too busy getting sucked off by girl B! I certainly am not gonna regret losing girl A cos I'm a selfish bastard!!"
[sub]*curls up and sobs* I'm gonna need a few minutes...[/sub]

I've realised that with men actually, which is why I don't do small talk. I'll ask how they are, then just get into a proper conversation.
With women I don't know I'm really bad for small talk and reaching out to talk about anything, no matter how silly >.<

I can pretty much sum it up for you for a average male from the age of 14 to 25 50% of "MUST HAVE GIRL GIRL GIRRRLLL I WANT TO PUT MY PENIS IN HER HOLE"

The other 50%
"I am hungry need food."
"I am tired"
"I really want to play video games/watch a TV series"
"I have just wanked and have a small window of complete clarity in which i can explore the vastness of the universe and realise why I do not need to be hunting after girls all the time"
Then its straight back to "GIRRRLL"

This is coming from a eightteen year old male who goes to an all boys school and i know perfectly well this is pretty much my whole year bar a few.
Hah, I thought as much :p I want to know why they do stupid things for girls and can be so cruel and emotionless, or maybe they just don't want to show their emotions as much as women.
Also I've worn the same jeans for a week, zero fucks given. You have to be incredibly good looking to be able to "get through life" without actually doing anything. If you don't meet the stupidly high standards of a lot of people, you have no chance living off your looks.

Frankly I'd like to be what I want when I wanted. If I could choose but had to decide to have it be permanent I couldn't do that. Because I'd like to be a lady, for the experience alone regardless of my identity, but I'm also perfectly comfortable how I am now. I'd definitely take the pill but I'm not sure what I'd do after. I'd probably change back because, as I said, I'm pretty comfortable as I am, but you never know...

Would absolutely try it for a week. Just for the experience. As for making it permanent... I don't mind being my gender, but it is possible the genetic re-write could cure a certain syndrom I have. If so, then yes, I would take the permanent pill.

I recently realised that I am extremely straight and not even remotely curious. So basically, "Hell no" is my answer. I would of course love to hear about it from others though just to know what they thought of it.

I'd do it for a week, see what it's like, maybe then decide wether to change back or not, I'd make a pretty badass chick, I bet. ^^

Classic scumbag syndrome, even among guys this is often just not justified behaviour.
see also, "girl leaves guy for one with a better job", cumbags be scummin'.

Thing is, scumbags undermine the efforts of us, proper folk, because we end up being treated with suspicion without having done anything wrong.

I'm sure most people in the thread will want to switch back.

My first action as a man would be to pee, everywhere. I would also probably have a wank to see what that feels like.

EDIT: the week pill. I enjoy being a laaaydee.
I feel bad because you want to understand their emotions and psyche whereas the first thing that came to my mind was playing with my temporary wang.
Your post made me tear up with laughter. Thanks for that xD

OT: I;d take the pill just to see what being female would be like. I hear that they are different than us men-folk. I wouldn't know as I've never seen one of these "females" in person. I'm too busy drinking beer and wearing worn, 5 year old jeans with boots on my farm.
With Classic rock blaring in the background.

First thing I'd do is play with me lady bits admittedly. Then I'd take over the world.
But I do enjoy being a manly man that does manly things like grow copious amounts of manly chest hair and eating steak so I'd change back after a week.

Please note that 90% of this post is me being facetious.

As a guy, hell to the fuckin' no. I like just putting jeans and a shirt on and calling it an outfit when I wake up every day.

Actually, I might consider it just to know what jilling off feels like, but outside of that, I'm fine with my current gender.
You could always wear jeans and a T-shirt as a Woman for a week.

Personally, I would do it and try some of the things (some) Women do, such as wearing stupid shoes and carrying a small bag. I would probably only try them once though.

Sure, a week's worth trial, why not? First thing I'd do is join the wank-parade, too :p

probably not

I have no sex drive so the masturbating thing sounds pointless to me.

Seeing stuff from a woman's perspective sounds cool but I'm sure it will get annoying after a while

So no I'm gonna stick as a Male

a lot of people really could use the perspective. i would take it of course, ive nothing to lose but ignorance, but i cant exactly decide if the change should be permanent before i experience it. even then, one week is hardly enough time to figure out if you want to completely reverse your birth gender. i mean, i might have the time of my life that week, then i get my period and hate the cramps and having to buy tampons... you cant shave your legs with the same razor you do your face, so id have to figure out what kind of razors to get, then my god the clothing; id have an entirely different size for everything! i would still keep my hair short probably, but im used to just buzzing it all off, id have to figure out how to manage hair....

there's all kinds of extra BS i might find out i just dont want to live with.

Sure, I'd try it ? but I have no idea what I'd do at the end of the week.

I don't care about gender and don't really think of myself as having one. I have no incentive to contest my assigned gender, but I don't feel attached to it either. So who knows? Maybe I'd find the change preferable? *shrug*

To be honest, my ideal scenario would let me swap genders on a whim ? or just not have genders at all.

I can't speak for all men, but in my experience men don't understand how women are emotionally effected by things to such a massive degree (from our perspective). For example: Imagine an argument over something fairly small has just occurred. Within a few minutes of the end of the argument I am mostly back to normal and can continue talking in my usual way. A woman seems to keep talking derisively for hours and keep bringing up the minor issue that caused the argument for weeks, sometimes years. I don't understand this at all.

Maybe if this pill effects my emotional state as well I would have a better understanding.

Unless you give me the opportunity to live through my life from the beginning to the present day and then give me the option, I'd refuse on the spot
