I'd for the most part have fun or maybe rid the world of evil but overall I won't really know until I get one in my hands for real. If I got one tomorrow I'd write the pope dying from anti-matter explosion just for the kick of it that much I am sure.

Wouldn't it be better to write the name of that person in the notebook, and than in 30 seconds if they're still alive beat the shit out of them?

I don't think I'd believe it. If I knew all about it, I probably wouldn't use it. I don't really think I desperately need anyone killed, and I don't really like the "no heaven or hell for you" very much.

I would have a hard time using it in good conscience, but if I had to use it, pretty much anyone in a position that is making life miserable for people around them. This includes ANY government, corporations, warlords, and street gangs.

I would always send a "death note" to my targets. It would be a black envelope warning them to leave and disappear, or die.

you know whats bad about using it to take out people who effect you is that once everyone around you is dead i have a feeling some one is going to think "hum maybe he/she has something to do with it" which is why i take the random mass murder route and the no heaven-hell thing dose not really effect me taken that im pretty sure im going to hell and i can't really image anything much worse then there lol

Their "evil" is a petty social construct. Their "evil" is an attempt to acquire some sort of meaning in their lives. They've still got a vision and they've still got...y'know, plans.

And while they're busy planning their vendettas with one another, I'll be the man behind the scenes serving as a catalyst to keep their silly game of tug-o-war a-floatin'. Now, I may be making some money, but my true profit comes from watching these ants scampering around imposing their little moralities against one another. My hands would be clean--it wasn't I who had a desire to kill anyone, I was just there to make things possible for all of these dreamers and visionaries. And in the end, any happiness they've attained in fabricating their little niche...well, it would be all thanks to me.

Now, back on topic. I would first test out the notebook by killing off the Jonas brothers one by one, just to see the fans reactions. After finding out if it works or not, I would keep the death note locked away in my house, only to be brought out when I can personally gain something by using it.
