Simple, I would first write down my name as dying in three-hundred years. Not so I could live long, but because once a name is written in a Death Note, it can't be written there again.

Second, I would then rip out the regenerating pages and sell them to people with grudges to settle while I would, on occasion ruthlessly kill people.

You can't do that , once a name is written in the death note the person dies in 23 or was it 24 days(unless you specified an earlier date), you can't extend your life with it (only shinigami's (death gods) can and only use their death note to extend their lives, well most of them.)! Again I say, OP, specify the rules of using the death note!!!!!

I don't remember the 23 or 24 days rule, but I wouldn't be extending my life. Simply protecting myself against other Death Note users.

You have to pay attention more then , it was very near the beginning when Raito thought about how to kill Misa but that rule got in the way.

I wouldn't use it, because of the fine print, yo--you use the Death Note even once, and when you die, that is IT, because your soul won't go to Heaven OR Hell, which means you are SOL in the end. It's not worth it.

You didn't pay attention to the ending did you? It's just something the Shinigami say to confuse people, in the end, they say that no one goes to heaven or hell and that their soul enters Mu where it essentially ceases to exist.

Why the Fuck would a Shinigami at the end of everything explain life and death to a bunch of mortal...albeit hes held to a strict rules that don't allow them to give specific information...could this be another trick? Is Mu a joke of the Shinigami???

I have reason to believe that the Death Note users become Shinigami, it says it in the rules at the end of the manga and Anime...BUT!!! I perfer the manga, and overall the manga and the anime have different endings thus the rules are kind of skewed! ERGO, when it says this in the book and they have a death Note rule book I ordered also just because it came with the Death Note complete series....and the rules of afterlife are not located in such a book...THUS! It must be certain that Mu is doubtable because of the lack of assurity that it is not written in stone in the book that contains the rules!

Also how were the Shinigami born...they can't reproduce sexually so that must mean 2 possiblities
1. The death note makes the user a shinigami when they die
2. They have existed since the dawn of time....which the 2nd is heavily flawed...the book can only kill humans...riiiight? But in the begining of time there were no humans to kill ergo! shinigami did not exist pre-humanity!


All of course which leads to the origins of the death note...but we all know that beyond my speculation it would be going to far out on a limb to suggest the origins of the Notebook!

I would probably end up pulling a Light and kill of criminals...but first I would start knocking off heads of churches and religions, imagine the news of the Pope, current leader of the scientologists, leaders of PETA and basicly every stupid group suddenly dies? I would control the world via knocking off poloticians whom I dont like. It would take a while but eventualy the world would be populated by people I deam worthy based on their morals....what a perfect world that would be =D

Well I actually HAVE a Death Note and a feather pen too, ooooh yeah...

I would get the US Army to send a nuke to Japan, Japan to retaliate and send one to Russia, Russia to send one to Australia, Australia to... LOL like they have nukes.

Anyway, I would use my Death Note to destroy the whole world, I would just sit back and watch the greatest show on Earth.
