Halo, purely because of the Fanboys. Its a decent enough game, but its fanbase is unnerving to say the least...

World of Warcraft, for the sake of the human race's sanity.

Whoever votes TES, I have something to say to you...

I say Guitar Hero/Rockband and all Sports. Nothing like paying full price for dlc (or at best expansion) every year.

Why the hell would anybody who enjoys video games want to remove any game franchise? If you don't like them, don't play them. Millions of people enjoy the lised franchises. Just because you're incapable of accepting an opinion on a subjective subject doesn't mean a franchise deserves to not exist.
Who said I wasn't capable of accepting other people's opinions? I don't think CoD has done anything to deserve the praise and hype it receives. MY opinion, which you apparently can't accept, is that CoD has set a path for FPS which could ruin the genre. 5 hour campaign? No thanks. Most of the weapons in Black Ops have completely different in game stats, but they are all coded identical. Do you want other FPS's to continue this trend?

You could say exactly the same thing about Facebook.

CoD because im really pissed at Treyarch at the moment for releasing a broken game on the PC and not fixing it for two goddamned weeks (and still counting).

If WoW didn't exist now, people would play a clone of it. No telling what would happen if it didn't exist. But since it does exist, there's no reason to speculate on how the world would be like if it didn't.

I'd kill Tomb Raider. Lara's breasts aren't the biggest thing on TV anymore, they need to be put to rest.

It seems to me that the genre is splitting. Thanks to the availability of fast internet connections, as well as the online capabilities of the current consoles, it's now viable to structure an entire game around its multiplayer component. As consequence, yes, the single player suffers. This is because many people don't play the likes of CoD for its single player - they play it for its multiplayer. I'm afraid if you are now going after CoD for an involved single player experience, then you're barking up the wrong tree. They want the entertainment over time that multiplayer offers out of the game, and the developers, knowing what sells, supply this.

However, the rise of what I'd term 'Multiplayer-Centric Shooters' doesn't mean the death of traditional, campaign driven shooters. Despite the popularity of CoD and such, we will still see the likes of Bioshock and Half-Life for years and years to come.

People who play CoD for its online are perfectly capable of also enjoying narrative driven, single-player orientated games. They do not have to be mutually exclusive. The genre is broadening out into two distinct sub-sections. I don't think this is a bad thing.

remove from existence?
none of them! they all contributed to gaming as a whole.
there are a few that just need to stop now. or about 10 years ago.
call of duty needs to start coming up with new stuff for their future games, the space marine thing could work out, if implemented correctly.
WoW can just keep going, i don't really care that much. all the no-lifers wouldn't get out of their homes either way.
Half Life seems to be finished, now people just need to finish talking about it already. i know it's good, now shut up.
Music games are pretty much done too, the only thing they need to do is put out dlc with more songs
Halo is over. I had fun with it, glad it exists, but now it needs to die.
Final fantasy.... well whatever works for you I suppose... never gotten into it so i can't really say much about it.
Fallout can keep going, so long as it actually GOES somewhere. as in, fallout 4.
most Nintendo franchises.... need to be shut down, let them think of some new stuff. they haven't really done that for a while so the idea-o-matic has had plenty of time to recharge.

Postal, it has been causing too many stupid problems with lawmakers referencing it constant;y as the poster child of video games. Imagine a world where it didn't exist.

I'm going to go with the Bethesda games. They make a beautiful world but other then that I find their games to be soulless.

AAA games that poured millions of dollars into, but never ever took off. Each series on that list contributed something to gaming as a whole, I'm talking about games like Kain and Lynch, Army of Two, Postal etc. those need to die and die now.

If no one remembered the series, Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, and The Legend of Zelda. They're all incredibly stale series that either revolutionized nothing or are done much better by other games.

Exactly. Imagine all those wasted hours.
