Old age.
Does that count?
If you live on Brunnis 2, it does:
"Were hereby decree that your death shall be slow! This newborn will die, because he will grow old!"

I think I would choose an overdose of anestethics. Fall asleep, and just don't wake up. Sounds good for me.

Pushed off a plane at 13,000 feet. That way I'd have some fun free falling before I die and possible have the opportunity to say "look up!" before I land on someone.
hahaha this :), but go with "heads up!"

Being swallowed by a black hole, that should buy me some time before they figure out how to do that.

Personally, I would choose beheading. Quick, painless, although crude. I couldn't stand the sight of a firing squad before me, or the anxiety of lethal chemicals running through my veins.
Trust me, beheading is one of the worst ways to die. Why? Because you are STILL CONSCIOUS FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS AFTER BEING DECAPITATED! Don't believe me? Check out this first hand account by a doctor who examined the head of a convicted French prisoner after his beheading.

"Here, then, is what I was able to note immediately after the decapitation: the eyelids and lips of the guillotined man worked in irregularly rhythmic contractions for about five or six seconds ? I waited for several seconds. The spasmodic movements ceased.
The face relaxed, the lids half closed on the eyeballs, leaving only the white of the conjunctiva visible, exactly as in the dying whom we have occasion to see every day in the exercise of our profession, or as in those just dead.

It was then that I called in a strong, sharp voice: ?Languille!? I saw the eyelids slowly lift up, without any spasmodic contractions ? Next Languille?s eyes very definitely fixed themselves on mine and the pupils focused themselves ? After several seconds, the eyelids closed again, slowly and evenly, and the head took on the same appearance as it had had before I called out.

It was at that point that I called out again and, once more, without any spasm, slowly, the eyelids lifted and undeniably living eyes fixed themselves on mine with perhaps even more penetration than the first time. Then there was a further closing of the eyelids, but now less complete. I attempted the effect of a third call; there was no further movement and the eyes took on the glazed look which they have in the dead.

I have just recounted to you with rigorous exactness what I was able to observe. The whole thing had lasted twenty-five to thirty seconds."

Yeah, I'd take the electric chair over that any day.

Where's the poll? o_O...

If I had to choose... death by being pushed off the empire state building since it'd be really fun and I could try to take someone out in the process. =D

As the big post stated above, even when decapitated your brain will still be alive and that means that you will be conscious. At least for the few seconds it takes to faint from oxygen starvation.

So I would want something fast and inevitable.
Setting of a nuke at point blank would be fun. Its over in a split second and nothing but ash for over a mile!
Though I cant choose that because of the collateral damage!
So if I could choose, let me fly a little Cessna Have 2 fighter jets follow and circle me for a while and then shoot me down with a sidewinder!
I want to die the way I lived, with love for the awesomeness of airplanes!
