I do know one in real life.

However I'm not sure I'd like to meet more Escapists in real life, I like how everyone is here in onezeroville.

I like the anonymity.

Id talk, but then I talk to people I don't know fully on a nightly basis.

Not sure how we would know we were both on here though, its not exactly the first thing you tell people.

Probably talk to them or at the least say hi. I am usually a fairly outgoing person, but Escapists here are few and far between.

I have, and they unfortunately talked to me. :/
How did they know it was you..?

OT: I'd LOVE to meet someone from here. It's a shame I can't make it to escapism UK in fact.

Considering that i've met a few of the major ones already. I don't think it would be that bad.
In fact, i had posted only 50 times in 7 months here before escapism. Yet, when i saw the tiny flag at Sydney terminal with the sites logo on it, i just jumped in a seat at the table and said hi without a second thought.
You would be surprised actually, Indigo Dingo wasn't actually that bad.

if it were MaxTheReaper, i would run away very fast, as usually seeing death is not very good.

It depends on who I met, some people I'd just say hi to and then leave, others I'd like to get to know better.

Well, I severely doubt they would recognize me, but depending on who it was, I would either hug them (and scare the everloving hell out of them,) or just say hi.
Heh. It would only be scary if you did that while I walked by a dark corner.
Hint.

I'd probably be boring as hell to talk with in reality. I'm much chattier online. So they would probably walk up expecting something demented/funny, and just get a reply best described as "meh."

...seriously depends who it was. i don't think anyone here is on the list i was given, so that wont be an issue...probably not anyway...

unlikely to happen though. i'm so isolated, the only realistic way for me to meet an escapist member is to convince my friends to join. i have so far failed at this.

I know an Escapist in real life.
But seriously you wouldn't know but since you like the same things you'd eventually end up as friends, correct?

Unless they are Sonic the Hedgehog fanboys.

Hmmmm, depends on the person. If it was Max, then I'd run away. Quickly. If someone like Kukul or Cheeze Pavillion, I'd try to avoid an argument but still treat them with some respect and friendliness. If one of the trolls who hang around and somehow avoid being banned, they know who they are, then I'd ignore them. Anyone who I consider a friend on the site, they also know who they are (probably), I'd chat to and generally act as a friend. Anyone else, I wouldn't know, so I'd ignore them too. Unless it was something like Escapism UK, then I'd introduce myself, and follow the 'friend' instructions previously mentioned.

See, I have quite a neat and tidy mind. I must be insane...

They may get my usual growl of a hello or a punch to the throat depending on their past behavior. I'm rather friendly once people get past the possibility I may eat their face if they annoy me.
