I am going to be 15 soon. One week ago i swore too my self that i wouldn't buy the new Poke'mon. I bought SS today. That just goes to show you how well nastagia sells (the origanal silver was my favorit poke'mon because the story was the longest with 16 badges). I still stick to what I told my self, that Nintendo would have to mix thing up quite a bit for me to give a crap again, however I will probobly be hooked forever. What they should do is make on game that encompases all 4 regions, and/or has real time, third person combat. One could asign the 4 atacks to the 4 face bottons, controle movement with the D-pad, and dodge with the sholder bottons. Would that not be awsome?

I'm 15 and I still play. I've been playing since I was very young... my first game ever was Pokemon Yellow and I've played it on and off since then. It's just a great game.

if this kiddy shit is still played by people OLDER than me, i cant help but shake my head and think they're playing kiddy games.

My dad was in desert storm. He said they used to capture scorpions and make them fight to the death. That's kinda like Pokemon, and he was 25ish when he did that so I answered accordingly.

I'm at a university, and a lot of guys in my dorm play it. Which is pretty in line with the poll results.

And thus, we see the mindset that led thousands of shallow people to hate Wind Waker for no good reason.

If a game is fun and well-made, who gives a crap if it's kid-friendly? Pokemon can be played by kids, but it can also be played by adults. Its kid-friendliness in no way affects its enjoyability, and to think so is, in itself, very kiddy (translate: immature).

I'm 16 and I still love the games! Started with Red, way back in the day... hell it was even my 1st game, let alone Pokémon game!

They did kinda jump the shark after gold/silver/crystal
I agree, I think G/S/C were the peak of the games, but I still loved them all.

I'm 23 this year and I see no reason to stop playing pokemon. It's a great travel game.
