I wouldn't give a flying fuck. yahtzee's job is to nitpick and then blow any relatively minor faults out of proportion in order to make a moderatley entertaining weekly show. if i did make the game you described i would kill myself in order to stop a sequel happening. if i made a game of my own, i would watch his video and just be like "meh, ok" and move on.

I guess it wouldn't feel great, if you were a developer who had poured their heart and soul into the game, rather than one pumping it out for money, but I would at least take the criticisms on board and try to improve on them next time. Hopefully I would still find it funny, though. But like I say, when it's your pride and joy being ripped apart, I think it would be hard not to get angry about it, even if you love him now.

I would hope I would never take him seriously. His reviews are for laughs, you have to take what he says with a grain of salt. All the things he gripes about in games are just minor annoyances to me. Sure they could be fixed, but the game overall has always been fun. His job is to play games and then make a funny video pointing out their flaws and making fun of the game.
