Poll: If you were a Jedi/Sith what color lightsaber would you use? And why?

I remember back when I was playing through Star Wars The Force Unleashed, once I found it I stuck with a yellow crystal (that looked more orange than yellow to me) along with a certain hilt that had four prongs where the blade comes out.

With a white/silver blade. Silver is a blade color that symbolizes a balance between mind and body, saber and force. Very apt considering that my favorite style is Ataru, which relies on augmenting your own physical abilities with the force mid-combat.

Actually, the lightsaber color signifies your fighting style. So while purple isn't my favorite color, it represents the strongest fighting style, and is why I would choose purple.

Not exactly. In many cases that is the truth, but Dooku and Vadar have different styles. Many wielders of red lightsabers have different styles. But yes, I would agree with you that those with green lightsabers tend to be more force oriented Jedi. But that doesn't always translate to the same fighting style.

And I wouldn't say Windu's fighting style is the best and that is why he has a purple lightsaber. It certainly is a great and powerful style, but he would be just as powerful with a blue or green lightsaber. Color tends to be a personal choice in these matters.

I would go double saber with one silver and one red as their color reflect my Lawful Evil views. I would imagine that a silver lightsaber would be the choise for a grey jedi. And well thats me; part neutral part sith, thus a red and a silver one.

maybe ide use a white one somtimes (like a second lightsaber) and be a SITH so i can mess with peolpe. definitely black.... when i played star wars unleashed that was the best part of the game having a black light saber.... frikkin' amazing

Gold. There's only one of those I can recall seeing, and it was used by Yun in Jedi Knight before being passed on to Kyle Katarn. So it's got quite the history as well as being apart from the usual green/blue/red.

I agree. Though I'm fond of viridian, I'd have to go with blue for a lightsaber color for the visible reason above. Besides, everyone knows that Smurf blood is GREEN.
