Poll: If you were a Jedi/Sith what color lightsaber would you use? And why?

Isnt the color light saber directly related to jedi position? Green for master of the force, blue for ordinary jedi, purple for master of combat, and red for sith or something like that?

Now that i think about it though, the black one would be the best in functionality because it would be a bit harder to see than the rest.

There was a black saber in The Force Unleashed, but it was kind of odd looking.

how ever i must say that i absalutely hate the black saber, black is not a color
black is the absence of light and/or color and with out light you can not have a "Light"saber

I never said I liked the idea of it or that it made any sense. But there has been usage of them in games.

you guys take the naming "light"saber too literally. it emits light, it is not made of light. it is made of plasma

purple because it is unusual, authoritative, and it kicks a lot of ass.

I'd probably roll with the Black Light Saber, just because... It's freaking Black. It's fucking Energy that emits Dark Light. How fucking awesome is that? Although Pink would be an option because (as many people have said), who's gonna pick on the dude with the Pink Light Saber?

Although since most enemies live in those crazy ass instilations or the annoying snow bases, White would be just as effective an option... plus, that's kinda bitching too... "Look at me and my long glowing Flash Light!

The first jedi with a red lightsaber. Why? I like red and I want to stand out from the blue/green crowd. I would also use force lightning and choke, don't know why the fuck only sith use these things but if I was a jedi I'd even the playing field.

Red, because I like red. also there seems to be so many people with the other colors (blue/green), but when a guy with a red one shows up they are all like, "Oh snap, we need to do something about this."

As a kid, i made my own star wars character...a Jedi who had gotten cast out of the order (never came up with why) and used his jedi abilities to be a bounty hunter...i used to say he had a black lightsaber (he was known as Black Cobra), but an older friend was kind enough to point out to my feeble childhood mind that you can't have an actual Black lightsaber...so i settled for a deep purple (y'know, like a blacklight)...then i see Sam Jackson whip one out in Ep 2......dammit......
