My father planned to move to Canada to dodge the draft for Vietnam, then the age was changed. Lucky him.
At one time, I thought because I'm a girl I wouldn't get drafted. That changed. But I still don't think I would be drafted. I took ritalin for ADD for ten years; taking the drug leads to disqualification. My husband doesn't have good enough vision; so he's not going either.

Well i dont think Britain stands for much anymore. If I did fight they would probably welcome the people I fought as a new Labour Party a week later.

Vietnam was fucking stupid, sorry. The only way I'll fight for my country is if an ally is attacked or we are. Everything else is aggression. I don't fight for rich twats who want to make a buck off the tax payers.
