I would choose death simply because immortality is unfathomable to anyone, much less myself, and consequently mystical and terrifying. Death, unlike immortality, is natural so I would pick that.

the way the OP specified it, immortality equals an eternity alone in a pitch black universe at 0 kelvin to look forward to.

This is a very interesting question because you've not designated that we're immortal and that eternally youthful (or at least the age we are now). This might result in things like the character of Captain Jack/Face of Boe from Doctor Who (at least that's what's intended by the end of Season 3). We don't know what the human body would look like after a million years. But personally, I'd rather go with eternal life, mainly because it's designated that the person would die tomorrow. I'd rather live forever than die tomorrow.

Death. I'd be in Heven anyway.
Oh, would that we all had such guarantees.

Immortality.
Fuck cancer - it can't hurt me now, anyway.
Wow Max, you have a very strange sexual preference. ^_^

Death for me. I couldn't handle outliving my own children, etc... and if I can do some good while going out (such as curing cancer) even better!

Death, I would rather suffer God's judgment early than live forever with nothing to do.

Eternal life, then cure all the cancer myself eventually, as well as figure out a way to prevent the universe from being destroyed or make certain it starts up again after it's gone.

Personally, I would pick Immortality but with the option to end it if I see fit. E.g. the Universe has imploded and I'm the only person left in existence.

I've never been a pro-immortality kind of guy. Imagine, long after the Earth is gone, you are floating through space, gasping for a breath that will never come yet unable to die, when you slightly but suddenly change course. You perk up in a glimmer of hope only to realize you are now hurtling toward a star. There's no way to fight it, no matter how hard you try, and you can feel the universe getting warmer. Warmer, warmer, and warmer still, until every cell in your body is aching to set ablaze, and while you are wishing for death like never before, you will not get it. Before very long (although time lost all meaning eons ago) you are within the surface of the star, burning at temperatures unfathomable to the human mind, yet you shall be granted no mercy, no death, not even a nerve shutting down. Within your mind, shattered from fear, pain, and hatred, you realize this is your fate. You will remain here, burning, until the star dies out and becomes a black hole, crushing you with it's infinite power for the remainder of eternity...

I choose death. Any f*cking day of the week!
Quote from the opening thread:

-snip- ...cannot be damaged or feel pain in anyway (enabling you to be able to survive in any environment such as space or the centre of a star) -snip-

Did you read that? No pain, so your description wouldn't happen anywhere, you'd feel the same as if you were anywhere else.

I would go for Immortality, I'm very curious.
Ditto

I pick immortal. As long as I don't age.

DEATH

who want's to live forever...
I do.
I'd choose eternal life, gather wealth and power, and rule the earth and (in the long term) the universe with a hard, but caring, hand.
I'd reshape the earth and universe in my image.

And hopefully I'd rise to the state of god before the universe ends.

Eternal Life

For those who say "what would you do?" I say "take a bath in a volcano, cling to the side of a space shuttle and float to the moon. When you're done there, jump really high and plumet back to earth (Think of it as extreme sky diving). In between all that, raid a gun store, go on a rampage, hitch a ride on some migrating whales and just do whatever comes to mind. Remember, you can't be damaged, feel pain or die."

If I have risen to the state of god, I'd create a new one.
If not, I guess I'll be bored out of my skull.
But there's always a chance that a new universe will be formed sooner or later, and I'll be there, guiding it in the right direction from the beginning.

Life. I'd then offer my body to science, so they can apply my immortality to science and make the rest of the world immortal! Yay.

I was initially going to choose death, because I thought that living forever would be boring. But then I saw the whole thing about being able to survive in space. If you could truly go anywhere, then It would take an extremely long time for it to be boring.
