and most people who get invulnerability in the movies or comics end up being a self righteous douche or a villain.
Apart from wolverine.

O.T. Immortality.

Because that would be bad ass.

You chose Invincibility, i chose Immortality.

You could see how people change, the world. Very interesting.

But it comes with the downside of becoming delusional (Adam Monroe) and eventual loneliness and boredom... Say when the earth implodes and you are forever floating through space ~ And you can't die...
Hmm i agree, plus id have more time to play vidoe games and read comics. XD

I certainly wouldn't want immortality, watching everyone you know and ever will dying. You'll eventually be the Human existence, doomed to a solitary life until the end of time.

At least with invincibility you could live a life without fear, no consequences for trying dangerous things. A life without regrets. One that will, eventually, come to an end.

HA HA!! I would vote immortality, I looked up the definitions on both of them and their actually:
invincibility: Incapable of being overcome or defeated; unconquerable. :(
Immortality: the concept of living in a physical or spiritual form for an infinite or inconceivably vast length of time. :)

So if you would want to be Immortal much like the Sidar on FFHII then I dont blame you. BUT if you just want to live until you die of old age be my guest and borrow my coffin, I will not be needing it with my immortality. Living forever to look upon the greatest wonders of the cosmos and know that even they must end but you will not would be a great, almost God-like feeling that you are a unbreakable wall in the sea of time and space, THAT my friends would be a great existence. Knowing that as great and ancient as the finest libraries an Universities of Rome would not even dent the repository of knowledge you would one day obtain in your never ending eternal life. The thoughts of one man doing all of this kinda fills me with envy.

Well...I'd like both. That's obviously not an option, though, so I'll side with Immortality; I always thought that immortality was both, but simply living until you choose not to would still be nice. Except when some dick kills you in a mugging.

...there's always a catch.

If I was Immortal, I'd die somehow because of some prick. If I was invincible, I'd be Jesus and start my own religon where people would praise me as there god emperor! And I could clone myself a thousand times and conqure millions of worlds MWUHAHAHAHAAHHAHA I mean...Go Warhammer.

And that... my good friends is the catch to my poll. Both have drawbacks and advantages. I feel like a god imposing the difficult choice on everyone... hahaha

Invincibility, In Final Fantasy Tactics A2, there is a character that appears for all of one mission who is immortal, he said that he couldn't stand to see loved ones die from old age while he hadn't aged at all, so he disappeared and never showed himself to anyone but one of the main characters. I think that would be a truly horrible fate. Invincibility means you'd die along side your loved ones and be able to protect them from any harm.

P.S. Kudos to any who knows the characters name.

Immortality. I'd learn to defend myself extremely well, join the military for a while, then head out to BFE to hone my skills. Eventually, either the world would end or science would develop better technologies to make me invulnerable, or just a lot harder to kill.

Neither. Immortality would be boring as heck, and you'd have to live with the death of everybody you know and love. Invincibility would seem better, but you would still be able to feel pain, right? Say somebody attacks you with lethal force and you lay against a wall, broken but not dead, because they can't kill you even with lethal force. That would be extremely painful, and worse if your attacker realized you were invincible.

Yeah, got to agree, how disheartening would it be to would watch your partner grow old, knowing you will never so the same.

I would chose invincibility.

If I was to chose immortality, I would have to see anyone I love die and still be alive. It would make it so hard to ever feel anything for another person because getting involved with anyone would eventually mean that you would have to see them pass on.

Immortality would sort of take the use out of having a partner. Your genes will never die as long as you keep yourself alive. therefor there's no need to procreate, nor sustaining a partner that will help you care for your offspring.
