Immortality, I'd get things done. But what makes you think the universe is finite?

Just making a general assumption for the sake of the thread, i'm not sure whether the universe will end or is infinite. Hope it is infinite though. =D

Immortality, and I will use the time to create a magical suit of magic power armor to keep me from dying from external sources. And after that a spaceship so I can explore all of the universe. It won't be boring at all =)

It'd be really boring, living forever. Everyone you knew would be dead, and then the Sun would explode and you'd be floating through space for a bazillion years.

Did you people even read the parameters of these powers before you posted?

No, because I assumed the definition of immortality was the actual definition of immortality, i.e. not dying at all.

Invincibility. Given what you have described I would be immortal. My body would not degrade normally due to said invincibility so I would effectively be immortal.

if i was invincible i would just storm through iraq and afghanistan with a knife and do all the taliban, but immortality would be amazing too because you stay at a certain age and if you were smart eventually you would become a millionaire and live life of luxury but you would need to do some things like sky diving and things like that to keep a will to life lol otherwise you would become bored

yeah but then if someone found you at least you could be saved. if you were alone just play scrabble in your head lol. In the Heroes series though if you have immortality you cant die and their for your practially invincible to. id become a soldier or sas? hmm id be something cool

wow thats close,I choose immortality because I live a sedentary life of learning and gaming, also I've always had the ego to think I could deal with the bussiness of outliving everyone I know.

Immortality would lead to eventual suicide. We couldn't handle the depressing reality of eternity. It would be entirely too crushing. Immortality would be a curse, without a doubt. You would always have to move, lest people believe you a freak and hunt you down.

Invincibility would allow you an amount of vast power and influence over the world, allowing you to die with a legacy.

The latter wins for me.

If I'm invincible, I can go wherever I want and do whatever I please without worrying about death. It is a far more powerful ability to have, at least for a man of action.
