Because it goes through a black hole field, he's bragging that he can go through it in a very short route, or one that has more chance of approaching a black hole and being more dangerous.

Who shot first? I don't care, as simple as that. i'm fine with either one. Also i did find the new triology, while not as good as the original one, to be entertaining. Could be because i was pretty young when episode 1 aired, but still...

What game did Mario first appear in? And what was his name?

Not that hard for gamers, but tough for everyone else
Donkey Kong
Jumpman

Gaming 101

Actually, his original name was Mr.Video and he could not jump but that was before donkey kong where they simply changed his name to jumpman

HAN!

It's important to show his character as someone who is intelligent enough he knows how to survive and shoot first! Not some lucky dork who fired late.

Why is Boba Fett so cool? He did basically nothing in the movies yet he is some badass.

BTW I do think he's badass too I'm just wondering why.
If you read the EU and all the stuff in there about him you'll see.

what would have happened if Ozymandias's plan had failed?
How would the course of history be altered if Nixon hadn't been caught

Hmm, I didn't know that. I guess it isn't gaming 101.
Also, I like all the answers my question has gotten, just so all the people know. I knew the answer involved Han taking a shortcut, cutting the 18 parsec run down to less than 12. I just figured it was another nerd question (and it seems I was right)

A parsec is a unit of distance not time, how did the Millennium Falcon make the Kessel run in less than 12?
Actually, given the fact that the Kessel run is a string of black holes the kessel run could be a slalom around them, with faster, more powerful ships being able to get closer to the holes without getting caught.

Another explanation is that , traveling through hyperspace requires careful navigation to avoid stars, planets, asteroids, and other obstacles, and that since no long-distance journey can be made in a straight line, the "fastest" ship is the one that can plot the "most direct course", thereby traveling the least distance.

Alternatively due to relativity and length contraction, a ship approaching the speed of light will have to travel less distance, thus a very fast ship would travel less distance.

Although, i hear the books change this line to "standard units of time", which means it might have been a screw up.

If a lightsaber amounts to projecting monochromatic light into a focused beam, then why don't the blades extend to infinity?
They're loops, not beams. But what would happen if you were to refract the beam that makes up the loop?

If anime people were to coexist with humans in this world, would they need to come from a Roger Rabbit type universe where human beings and toons can exist in the same world due to the theory that creatures in other universes have the potential to be made of anti-matter which destroys matter, so if SAL9000 is to be a happy man in RL, we would have to discern whether, if theoretically a Roger Rabbit / anime universe existed, could interstellar travel allow anime people to cross over to here without being made of anti-matter which would destroy the universe?

This theory is why I don't fanboy over too many anime chicks. They could be made of antimatter!

shortcut.

And Han shot first because he's smarter. It shows the ability to consider the future; in that he knew failure to shoot first would be bad for his health. Thus his shooting first is indeed as admirable, if not more, than shooting second.

Because the lightsabers read the script?

This one has always, always bugged me.
I heard once that you use the Force to refract the lightsaber beam. Then later I learned about Plasma technology, which is most likely what the lightsabers and ships use for many things.

Hey, what if you make a lightsaber out of kryptonite crystals?

The egg. Where did the egg come from? A dinosaur.

Han...Duh

Now here's one. Does Boba ever crawl his way out of the Sarlacc pit? In Canon?
No. Boba Fett dies. Period.
Hate to break it to you, but he does. He crawls out, the only person to survive it, then goes underground for 15 or so years, before hunting down Solo, who is doing a spice deal which goes wrong, they meet, almost cap each other, then walk off...

Now excuse me, I need to go beat myself to death with a Star Wars book

I thought this was common knowledge by now. Han is the only one who shot in the original version (ergo he obviously shot "first") but in the updated version greedo does in fact shoot first and miss (because apparently he can't aim at a person two feet away from him xP).

Thats how.
Is that so?

And just how long is a parsec (in time)?

If you took a dump inside the holodeck of the Starship Enterprise, would the dump process through the holographic toilet, or would it phase through?

This haunts me.
now thats a interesting question....hmmm... itd prolly process through the holographic toilet and then when the holodeck stops itd be on the floor at teh edge of the room. since it was a "part" of the original person.
