I purchased an $800 guitar on impulse since it was on a clearance sale. At the time I didn't even know how to play guitar, but decided "Hey, this can't be that hard!".
Since then I have become an epic lead guitarist, so the purchase actually worked out!

I remember another situation. Last year, I was walking in Target around the end of September. I was going to go pay for my items and was waiting in line. Then, I spot some of those Franken Berry, Boo Berry and Count Chocula cereal boxes. Without thinking, I grabbed three of each flavor. Oh, good times...
