Poll: inFamous or Prototype?

Both are unquestionably excellent games, but I have to give the nudge to Prototype. The movement is so much more fluid, combat is more interesting and the gameplay is a bit more varied than inFamous.

I think the reason people feel the need to compare the two is because one is an exclusive. Of course Prototype is going to sell better. More people own 360s and PS3 owners are just as likely to pick it up.

I bought both of them and I find it hard to compare the two. inFamous kept me entertained with its story and missions. Whereas Prototypes story was also very interesting, only the main story missions really entertained me. The side missions were mostly boring garbage. But the combat made up for that.

As for the morality system, it's much harder to be good and I like a challenge.

If you have a PS3, buy them both.

They are similar, but also very different. For story, I think inFamous wins, as the good/evil choices add variety, as well as change the gameplay and story. However, for combat, Prototype takes the lead. This leads to another point about combat. Infamous has a variety of powers for both melee and ranged attacks, but electricity doesn't allow any guns or vehicles. Prototype only has one ranged attack and only accounts for military vehicles. As I said, infamous has far better storyline and characters, but Prototype has better combat. Another point, infamous will have a sequel, but there are no plans for a prototype 2

Anyways imo InFamous has a better storyline but protype is much more fun mainly because of alex's abilities, infamous kinda gets boring and i felt like the missions were there to advance the story and most of em felt repetitive and dull to me.
