I see a distinct lack of T-virus in your poll.

This displeases me.
Exactly. Where is the T-Virus from Resident Evil? It kills everything and everyone in most depictions for a reason. ;)
Except Wesker. He seems just fine from it for some reason. In fact it seems beneficial for him, he's super-human!
Ahem *puts on fanboy cap*
He took a dose of some sort of bacteria developed by Dr birkin in order to make it so, shortly before allowing the tyrant to kill him. Nonsensical, true, but resident evil never exelled in making sense

Hmmmmmmmmmm I would say my virus in Pandemic or what ever that online game is. I got every last place. HAHAH!
That game is IMPOSSIBLE!!!
There's no way anybody could've beat it!
Even madagascar? Seriously? They close the borders and start burning all their clothes if someone coughs three countries away!

Silver wolf: Interesting, but don't give valve any ideas about new special infected they can use to justify L4D3.
It was japan that got me every time! Pff handing out bottled water.
i got so addicted to that game, i must've beeten it 11 times by now, winning on virus is damn near impossible, although parasite and bacteria are reasonably achievable.
The secret is to keep no sympotoms and don't spread too fast, also getting madagascar is always a big arm pump for me!

I think most of the world would be shit out of luck if the FEV got spread around too much.
Nah, we'd just hurry the fuck up with making power armor. Besides, Super Mutants are morons, they go for the biggest thing resembling a weapon they can and don't take cover, while going head on against one plays to it's strengths, outsmarting it by using proper weapons, cover and strategy makes them a piece of cake to kill.
WEll what about the master? His intelligence was bolstered by the vats? Same thing with his luteniant. And the Enclaves modified strain created the sentient Deatclaws. And even stupid mutants know enough that they need to get more recruits, even without a leader guiding them.

I would say the G-Virus is much worst since you just keep mutating until your just a blob, who only can be killed with a big explosion. However the T-Virus did make trench coat wearing tank.

The Master was a fluke, he was already an intelligant, non irradiated person before being exposed to that much F.E.V. for a long time, he also was plugged into the vaults computer and had accumulated intelligence from the people and things he absorbed. The Leutinant was similar to the Master, had a brain before hand and little to no rads, he also was shown to have had cybornitic implants which probably boosted his intelligence. 80% of the time you get a big dumb Super Mutant.

I've beaten both, although there are supposedly 3 i don't think the third is worth playing, a major downgrade on the second.

FEV is nasty, so i'll vote for that, the L4D one is nasty as well but at least you dont turn gren, and you have a chance to become a tank!

Wow... so many viruses in videogames... never knew games were as infected as an adolescent male's computer with no virus scanner.

The RAGE virus, if we're allowed to pick from films as well. A cross-strain of F.E.V and Green Virus if we're restricted to games only.

EDIT - RAGE ninja'd! That ... makes ... me ... MMMAAAADDD!!!!

Huh, I had no idea the virus in Left 4 Dead had a name. Thanks for that bit of information.

Also, excellent job compiling the virus information from their prospective game universes. Your descriptions and photographs were well-written and well-researched!
