Welcome to the trial of my life.
For years I've been split between my two massive ambitions, sadly these two aren't exactly in tandem with one another. Firstly, to be a qualified legal barrister (of which I already have a practicing university law degree) and secondly, to be a published author of fictional pieces. Out of the two I'm quite torn.
On the one hand I understand the security and possible lucrative outcome of the law, as well as a chance to genuinly help people with real life problems. On the other hand writing is my passion, and creating stories is my favourite thing to do in life, with several working pieces and many goals left to reach.

Intelligence and creativity?
Law and writing. The two halves of my panto mask.
And that's basically me as well... except swap out the 'lawyer' for 'entomologist'.

As far as visual art is concerned, the best I can do is mechanical design (i.e. buildings for the setting that I write for, weapons, cartography etc., totally crap at 'life'). Science-wise, I'm good (I think), just a tad unmotivated (even if I honestly find it fascinating).

Well, I tried a course in physics, and I fucking hate it, despite being good at it in school. And I find myself playing a lot more guitar, and writing more songs.

I'd certainly prefer being able to write great songs, because that's my passion. Physics is just boring.

As others have already said, one doesn't have much meaning without the other.

If you have creativity but no intelligence, the best you can do is paint a very beautiful stil life.

If you have intelligence but no creativity, you might as well be a robot.

I think the two go hand in hand. Creativity, even artistic creativity like music or painiting that arguably "serves no purpose," requires intelegence in order to convey its meaning and achieve what it intended. Without creativity your intelegence would also go to waste, how are you going to solve any new problems if you cant think outside the box?
I personally wouldnt trade my analytical brain for the ability to play the guitar, so i would probably have to go with Intelect, but to be honest, any brilliant individual has to have a mix of both.

I think they are the same really. Most musicians are quite intelligent (at least the ones that come up with their own material) and notable scientists and engineers are very creative.

Well in terms of music and leadership I'd say..
Creativity 80%
Intelligence & Logic 25% (gewd ejumakayshun?)

Someone who's just a technicolor balloon of creativity needs a realistic 'brick' person to keep them from floating to high.

Why settle for either? Why not appreciate both? Cold, calculating logical ability and intelligence is fine and well, but only goes on to accomplish great things with creative inspiration. Similarly, vibrant creative ability and a appreciation for the arts can only go so far. Without the cold, logical side to concentrate our efforts and produce something meaningful, all we have left are hookah smoking, hackey sack playing liberal arts majors following the the hipster crowd while parasitically living off their parent's money. Was Leonardo da Vinci not equal parts artist and scientist? Is not the joining of Intelligence and Creativity the basis of Engineering? Without the creative efforts to organize, give meaning to, and examine things from other perspectives, isn't life just a collection of isolated, random events?

I'm going with intelligence because despite what others might say, the Copenhagen interpretation is far more beautiful than anything you could make with some creativity.

Intelligence.

Both have the potential to be a top performer when dealing with any given situation. An original and creative solution may be just as good as a more mundane but thought-out and pragmatic solution. It might even be more so.

However, the nature of creativity is its variability. Where as with intelligence, you have the ability to weed out some of the more less intelligent ideas to arrive at at a minimum of a decent idea.

As a child of Six Sigma, variability is the enemy. I'll take consistency over variation, even if that variation occasionally produces better results that I might come up with just intelligence.

False distinction.

Logic and reasoning is simply a sort of "mathematical" ability. This is one form of intelligence.

Artistic ability and creativity demonstrates spacial awareness and flexible thinking with a definite emphasis on the ability to invent. This is another form of intelligence.

I don't feel that these options are entirely mutually exclusive. One can analyse an artistic subject logically to determine what elements work and which do not, thus facilitating something akin to creativity.

I think the difference may come in that some artistic prodigies can do this without necessarily actively working out what is good, creating it instinctively.

Either way, I'd prefer intelligence. It just seems more useful and reliable to me.

Artistic ability would help me a lot with contributing epic drum parts into our songs. I can come up with some interesting stuff, but nothing I consider really special.

I am unsure of how to answer this, because intelligence is difficult to define, and as far as I know, creativity is part of intelligence? Without the creativity and imagination that humans have, there would be no ideas on how next to advance society, but without logical reasoning these ideas could not be put into practice. Both are important, and as stated before me multiple times already, most who are highly creative are also intelligent and vice versa.

Being able to use formulas and work things out quickly in your head through reasoning is all well and good but there are many many people who are capable of doing that, and we also now have computers for that, but there are few people who are creative enough to advance a society.

So to sum up, Which do I value more? Creativity.
Which would I prefer to have? Intelligence.
