People who always claim the old generation games were flawless in every perspective and much better than gaming today.

No, it's the exact same, search through garbage and you'll find gold!

Look at Mount and Bland Warband if you want a new type of RPG/Strategy/Action, trust me you'll love it.

Also, My Little Pony, I watched that show and it's no way "Mature" or anything like that, I guarantee you all those little obscure references and jokes are unintentional.

This post is silly, didn't you get put on probation for doing this exact same thing?

OT: The only thing that really gets me is grammar, but only when it is truly awful. An occasional misplaced comma is, alright with me.

A few things that annoy me:
-trolls and morons in general

-fanboys

-people who "fix" your posts from "X is crap" to "It is my personal belief that X is crap". Of course its my opinion, no need to get offended, I'm just cutting down unnecessary figures of speech. (fanboys are most prone to this)

-spelling and grammar nazis (Not that I'm against proper language on the internet but some people get too worked up about this )

-wording or word meaning nazis (I distinguish the from other kinds)- always take the worst possible interpretation of your words, ignore the intent, accuse you of using words in wrong context even if it's perfectly understandable. Often overlap with the "fixers"

-people who try to get offended and out of place users who portray themselves as martyrs or something.
ex. Vegan on BBQ club site, gay on catholic site, crusader on atheist, XBOX fanboy on sony site etc. Using any above tactics (like messing with interpretation).

I think that's all for now.

simple, when it straight up doesn't work.

either sites going on and off or just my connection just refusing to stream video's.

waiting, sometimes to the point of where it's just not going to happen. It's the only thing you can't ignore or glance over.

hey maby not always the internets fault but still the only thing that can really get me on edge.

And on spelling and grammar. seeing how I am myselft not a native english speaker I think people should be cut some slack over making grammar or spelling mistakes. It's ussually pretty easy to see who is making honest mistake because he isn't fluent in a language and who is just talking giberish for lack of caring. In some cases it does however appear people lack a left arrow and or backspace/delete key and just don't give a shit, that is just terrible.

No, I get put on probation for speaking my mind, which the majority of the people on here don't have the balls to do.

Other. Unnecessary hostile language bothers me- and I don't just mean saying naughty words, though that is part of it, I suppose.

I'm fine with Bronies, though.

Speaking your mind does not mean you aren't making ridiculous assumptions.

By saying that I do, you yourself are making a ridiculous assumption.

I don't like aggressive elitism. The people who disagree with your opinion, say you're wrong (most of the time when you're not), hurl abuse at you and act like smug assholes. Them. I hate them.

Bad grammar doesn't annoy me. Nor does trolling - I see the humour in both of those.

I am also gravely annoyed by "furries". Those creepy guys with avatars of fox-boys smiling. Gives me shivers. Especially when they start talking about paedophilia and incest and other creepy stuff like it's no big deal.

Just reading a few sentences from that post i could tell you were a Brit...mainly because no other nation understands the eloquence of the word ****.
I used to think that, but then I visited Australia and I realised that they do it better. South Africans clock in a close second.

*sigh* you're suggesting that Halo and CoD players can never be considered a "veteran" of shooters, even though CoD has been around forever and Halo is over nine years old. Playing a franchise in the Shooter genre for nine years does make you a veteran, and you're asserting that it doesn't is Ridiculous.

Does it matter to you that much of what I think? You are truly wasting your time typing.
Not really, I feel you should know how I feel about your opinion. And it isn't a waste of time at all, I've got the day off.

I really dislike bad grammar on forums. I understand it on IRC and in games etc. But when you have time to read what you're writing and even a spell-checker... that's just RAWR!~

I would definitely have to say bad spelling, though I've been pleasantly surprised at the coherence of the posts here at Escapist thus far.

Some of the people down here love that word. I think I've actually heard someone say it 6 or 7 times in one sentence, with no double ups and with each use having actual meaning.
It's sort of like an art form.

Unfortunately like most art, I detest it's use with a passion.

Blatent spelling errors and abbreviations like "u" or missing out capital letters or punctuation... I don't mind the odd mistake but everyone online should be old enough to write a coherent sentence and it isn't that much effort to write in proper grammar.
I like your interpretation of the word "blatant" ;)

Ha!

(That'd just be classed as "the odd mistake" though, so it's all good)
