I've dated all races except black girls actually, not out of neglect, but I just don't know/run into that many black girls. Personally I'm all for interracial dating, but I know people that will say "Yellow fever!" if you start dating an asian girl (even if she's your first asian girlfriend) and all that stuff if you start dating out of your race. Canada is very multicultural so it's generally not a big deal, though. I don't really try to find any specific race, just someone I find attractive. XD

EDIT: LOL, I can't vote because there's no...neapolitan choice or whatever. I'd rather not choose one than have to pick one out.

I can't answer your poll because I don't base anything on looks. Entirely personality, you understand. As far as looks go, as long as she takes care of herself.
But my special lady friend is downright gorgeous. She is also white.
Crap, do I hafta put "White" down on the poll? Ya, I guess I do.

OMG! You're Blasian! Like my friend...however he only likes to pretend he's black, but he still calls himself a blasian.

Anyway, I'm really only attracted to either White or Asian girls.

Please ... Australia ... 50% of the population has one or more parents born from overseas. We're a pack of mutts.

Asian-British(half Spanish-British) stock here ... and proud!

That being said I'd like to think we're lovable mutts, however? Probably not true ... angry, ugly mutts ...?
Angry ugly mutts. :p

I've got 3 different nationalities in 3 generations. And that's just on mothers side.

Slightly more on topic, most people will go for the same nationality as their own, it's just easier. Less cultural differences, no language barriers. I've seen immigrants (In Aus, the irony there..) who group together so tight that no-one else can get in. You have people threatening others who try to learn the language, customs.

Then you get.. Almost racist. The English fascination with Asian peoples, that's still pretty strong.

So racist or racist or racist is your choice. :p
Meh ... I grew up in the country and my mum never got spoken down to. Neither did my cousins who were in nearby town when my Aunt moved here too. people keep telling me that there are supposedly overt racist communities in Australia but I don't see it.

It could be the media is downplaying it, but after the media circus of 2005 I doubt that's the case o.o

The immigration system is inherently racist. There are quotas Australia gives to every country about acceptable immigration, despite the fact we are in desperate need of menial workers to help our fledgeling production sectors.

We need another Gough Whitlam without the Nationalism, also without the whole ignoring-of-small-island-populations-who-helped-us-during-WW2-but-received-no-military-aid-from-us-when-they-are-attacked-and-invaded.

My entire family is mixed one way ore another I'm Irish/Native American and my little cousins Amaya and Layla (Two of the most beautiful little twin girls in the world) are Native American/Black. So I've never had a problem dating people who are different. I'm Bi as well. My Philosophy? You love who you love when you love them; Male, Female, black, white, tan, yellow, Turrian, wookie whatever.

Well, my last girlfriend was Filipino.

I've come to find she's actually colored my preferences quite a bit (darker skin tone and darker, fairly straight hair...and low alto voice, B/C-cup, shorter than me, and I should really stop). Anyway, Pacific Islander or European would be my primary interest, East Asian very close behind.

...why are "white" and "European" separate, by the way? Is it because "white" tends to mean different things in different countries?
Ahh Filos ... salt of the earth if I may indulge my latent racism (atleast it's nice racism?). Mumsy is Filo, nice people ... scarily catholic ... you haven't seen a Stations of the Cross until you go to the Philippines ...
I don't think you could possibly top William Taft's description of them as his "little brown friends." At least he did seem to practice what he preached, unlike US involvement in the Philippines as a whole at the time, from what I understand.

As for the other...I can imagine. Might not be a coincidence that she was a lapsed Catholic, raised in the US (and Austria, a few years, from what she said), and fairly jaded anyway. And that we were friends a long time before trying dating (and friends afterwards until we kinda dropped contact).
Well, supposedly it's gotten better lately. Less diehard catholicism and more .... well less Catholicism. I'll let you know when I go in June for a working holiday ^_^

I don't really care about skin colour bujt I quite like the Filo skin complexion. I think it's just that I used to have overt Filo exposure as a kid, and all my cousins on my mother's side spoke tagalog when I don't speak a word of it ;.;

So they used to tease me all the time o.o Plus they were older than me <.< I guess my family turned me off Filo girls o.o

Now with reduced exposure I like them n.n

Criminalisation by association?
Well, it would certainly explain my alternate attraction to Kurdish women...

Well, practically the last many girls i've liked (not dated, only one) have been Asian. In my school it's usually the Asian women you can actually talk to and have a decent conversation with most of the time as the Caucasian women are on the majority very annoying and stupid in my school.

Ok, so I'm a black/asian girl (i look more black though), and the first thing id like to point out is that the only guys who think im pretty are black guys. I rarely see any races dating outside of their own race. first of all i think its not fair because i dont think ill find a black/asian guy (and i dont want to), and second of all, why? how many escapists out there like to date men/women from other races?

EDIT: sorry if i missed a race there arent alot of spaces to put answers for the poll =_=
Nevermind any missed races, what you really should care about is the lack of the "If the girl is hot then I'm game. I couldn't care less about race, and find all sorts of women attractive!"-option.

I find asian women incredibly attractive, and my first girlfriend was asian. My current girlfriend is basically white (so am I). She's half Indian, but she has a skin disease that makes her as white as the box I'm typing this message in.

No, but I was half-raised with some (and heard Kurdish and Spanish almost as frequently as English, most days), until I was about 12 and able to get home on my own from middle school. Both my parents worked. We're still close friends with the family.

As for my parents...my mother's fifth generation Irish immigrant, my dad's a mishmash of European (mainly English, German, and Italian; when he was in the navy, he was apparently occasionally mistaken for Italian by actual Italians), but they're directly from Wisconsin and California, US.
