Adult Swim isn't a kid's channel, it's Adult Swim! Vasquez could do whatever he wanted if Invader Zim got on Adult Swim and I think that kind of freedom would be really great for the show.jibjab963 said:

I LOVED that show. So dark, yet so lighthearted. Who could possibly resist GIR and the naivete of Zim? I rather enjoyed the animation and artstyle.

I think new episodes would be disastrous, but I would like to see the show on sometime.
It's one of my favorite cartoon series. It was at times so weird I wasn't sure I liked it but that's what made it special.
It definitely was not good for kids. I don't think Nickelodeon has an old enough viewer base for shows like this to work there.
I also would love if it was on Adult Swim, the way Vasquez would have wanted it to be. But it won't happen. : /

I like it and wouldnt midn haveing it back on, but i wouldnt want it on nick or any other kids channle.
In retrospect its Saw (but animated and with children, and funny ones at that). It would be best to have it on SciFi Spike G4 or any thing that caters to that age group (I really dont want my little four and three year old cousin stumblign on it)

Invader Zim could probably work with a re-imagining of the audience. I could only really see it appealing to young adults now (the original show was rather dark in some places), but there'd have to be the removal of the very kiddy elements. Otherwise, it sorta defies classification for any one age group and ends up not knowing what it wants to do.
