it is often said, even in scientific circles, that it is impossible to prove a negative. And that is exactly what it means, you can't prove that something doesnt ever happen somewhere, you can only prove that it is unlikely.
If it is impossible to prove a universal negative, then not everything is possible.
He said that one doesnt count in the begining.
He said: "I dare anyone to disprove ANYTHING, if you factor in magic, other planets, and alternate dimensions."

And

"My logic is that we can't prove that something definitely doesn't exist/ happen somewhere out there. That is the one thing that is impossible."

I believe I have proven by logical argument that logic cannot be disproved. He has yet to counter that argument without using logic while at it.

Also, he does not mention logical absolutes or concepts separate from reality anywhere in his OP.
"My logic is that we can't prove that something definitely doesn't exist/ happen somewhere out there. That is the one thing that is impossible."

that means proving a negative.
Idiots, proving my point sinse 1995.

Everything is possible just mostly improbable, especially in our life time but who knows what may happen in 100-500 years time.

Whether it be through science, technology, education, determination, money or drugs, ANYTHING is possible! :D

On a more serious note, I wouldn't know if something is impossible unless it never happens/ proven.

So, different dimensions, and magic.

That's like asking "If absolutely everything is possible, is anything impossible"

Also, me, in this reality, right now, killing a whale with a sharpened ski. Not happening!
(Yay! A loophole!)
Maybe you are killing a whale with a sharpened ski, you just don't realize it.
Unlikely; I lost my skis a few months ago in a fairly bad accident.
*looks down*
When did I get a new pair of skis?
And why is one of them stuck in a whale?
More importantly, how the hell did a whale fit into my room?

It's fine, the whale isn't fatally wounded. Thus you are proved wrong!
The whale is fatally wounded, you just happen to be stucked in a VR environment that tries to convince you otherwise.
Oh... bugger. Wait! I don't have a ski, the VR environment just made me think I did. Turns out it's just a fork. Still fine, unless there's a long chain of VR environments, each causing me to believe I'm in another, or there's some form of illusory magic causing me to think that the ski is a fork.
[sub] This could go on for a while...[/sub]

So I am going to have to say that anything is technically possible it just probably isn't going to happen.
Yet another contender for my challenge:

Disprove logic, without using logic while at it (as otherwise it will end up being a circular argument that is proof of nothing).

If you deem this impossible, then not everything is possible.
Not impossible, Improbable. According to Quantum physics it is entirely possible for you to walk through a wall. Unfortunately for this to happen, the electromagnetic field generated by every atom in your body (which is a lot of individual electromagnetic fields) would have to glitch out and not interact with the electromagnetic field generated by the atoms in the wall which is also a lot of individual electromagnetic fields. That combined with the improbability of a single one of your atoms passing through a wall makes it very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very ,very... very,very,very... very, very unlikely.

I'm done with this argument. No one on earth can disprove logic because logic is the only way we know how to prove/disprove anything, making your argument correct about earth, not everything everywere everyposobility <=(if that isn't a real word then I coin it and demand it be included in the next dictionary).

I'm not taking offense, simply correcting your mistake. Also, comparing twins to dimension copies is futile. Twins are different people with different mindsets, going through different things. Dimension copies are the exact same person only in a different world with one changed detail that changes circumstance.
You just straight up ignored half of my argument. Whatever I will just restate it(and make it more blatant and long so you don't miss it again! :D ). You are a product of your DNA and environment. Every little detail matters. You can remove something said to you once and come out completely different. There are two things that makes "you" you. Your physical being and what is private to the rest of the world. It is your thoughts, emotions, reactions to stimuli, etc. Change the environment (lets say in a different universe where only one thing is different in your(her) life) that you(she) will be different because of it. Her thoughts will change slightly, her reactions will change slightly, etc. Regardless of that, your thoughts are independent of hers, your feelings are independent of hers, etc. Thus you cannot be the same person. You may look similarly, act similarly, think similarly(etc), but you are not the same. The change between your lives doesn't need to be that great. It could be as small as the wording of one thought once. That is enough to prove that your thoughts are not dependent on one another and you are thus two different people.

Thank you sir, for proving that you lack reading comprehension. I attemped to show you the inherent flaw n his original argument, but apparently overestimated you ability or willingness to think on this:

His argument could be restated as: "Nothing is impossible EXCEPT...", but the disparity should be obvious when one reads the poll options, and the poll question.

He also happens to be wrong, as I have shown. It is impossible to disprove logic.

Then make an argument for why logic is tied to this particular reality. Make an argument for why concepts cannot cross hypothetical borders between universes.

Make an argument for why, even in theory, it would be possible for someone, somewhere, to disprove logic without using logic.

If you cannot, admit that you are wrong and that there are things that cannot be done.

You made the claim my friend. The burden of proof is on you.

First of all, I'm a guy. Secondly, it depends on how dimensions work. Maybe they are universes where there are alternate versions of people but they are completely different. Or you could believe (as I do) that dimensions are mirror images of each other with one detail changed, altering their existence. The people would still be the same people, just under different circumstances.
First off, I prefer saying "he" or "she" rather than "(s)he" or "he/she". It flows so much better when hearing and looks better when reading. I also prefer saying "she" when gender is irrelevant or unknown (and therefore irrelevant) just because it is different. Taking offense to it is your problem. Moving on: no, you do not want to get into a debate about philosophy with me. It has been proven that people with the same DNA aren't exactly alike even grown up in the exact same environment. Those "different circumstances" are a change in the environment which means that you cannot be the same person because they will react differently to a stimulus whether slightly or differently. Even twins like I described react to things slightly differently and have their own thoughts and emotions.
I'm not taking offense, simply correcting your mistake. Also, comparing twins to dimension copies is futile. Twins are different people with different mindsets, going through different things. Dimension copies are the exact same person only in a different world with one changed detail that changes circumstance.
But each dimensional copy will have a copy with just one change, as will each of those, as will each of those... Whilst this theory will lead to a few universes in which the exact same thing occurs, it will also lead to some where the sheer number of differences results in a radically changed setting.

Also, consider the power of one small difference - dimensional twin of Lee Harvey Oswald; doesn't shoot JFK - one small difference, but it changes the entire world

Quantum Mechanics does not extend to concepts.

I argue that it is impossible, even in theory, anywhere at any time by anyone/anything, to disprove logic.

Because the attempt would by necessity need to include logic at some point.

Even if only at the phase of claiming "Because of X, logic is disproven." Because this phrase itself relies on logic to be true. Thereby using that which it is attempting to disprove, as critical part of the proof.

QM has nothing to do with this. Because QM deals with subatomic particles, not logical absolutes or concepts.

Yes.

Impossible is just 'something we don't understand how to do yet,'

Throughout history the basic laws of what is and isn't possible have been rewritten and rewritten repeatedly. I've no doubt that in time what we consider impossible, even within very basic things llike the laws of motion, will become possible.

It's all a matter of working out how.

The thing is, I don't have to. I just have to say that somewhere, logic could not exits. Why don't you try to disprove that.

Under current definitions in our current space/time (don't cop out on me), prove that it's possible for the following sentence to be true:

"This sentence is a lie."

It is impossible to be born out of the womb fully clothed, with the body of a thirty year old.

Disprove that.

Breaking the laws of physics.
Different dimensions man.
Even different dimensions have laws of physics that can't be broken. They are different laws but laws nonetheless. Note he didn't say "out laws of physics" but "laws of physics" in general which means they change when you change universes (probably).
the "laws of physics" is something that we made up because we can't figure out a way to break them.

Given enough time i'd say anything is possible. I mean a hundred years ago you tell someone we'd have something like the internet in a century they'd probably lock you up as crazy.
