What are you're opinions of Disney? This is brought up since they just bought Marvel and could possibly screw them really really hard.
Why does everyone think that it will be the end of marvel? Disney is not writing the comics. They just have ownership of the marvel universe and can decide which movies to make.

Disney is not evil. It's not like they crush little childrens hopes and dreams, In fact, they do just the opposite.
Speak for yourself, buddy. So many people I know feel like their childhoods have been crushed by Disney in the pursuit of more money. I'm their de facto leader.

I just consider them evil for giving talented people delusions of grandure and then letting their useless former careers rot in the sun after a couple of bad decisions. I mean, generally when you groom a person to be a star you, you know, make them understand what it takes.

It's a corporation whose aim is to gain profits. That isn't evil, it's freakin' economics! I don't care about the Jonas Brothers or Hanna Montana nonsense because I don't pay attention to it. I do, however, enjoy watching their movies. Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Tron, Alladin, the company has many classics under their belt. Plus Pixar is doing wonders. I have no reason to complain.

Wow, I just realized this sounds very similar to my Nintendo defense. Wierd.

More evil than Satan, Fox News and Mecha Hitler all together.
More evil than Fux News? Methinks you exaggerate.
It's a close call I'll admit but I think they may just be.

Actually I'd like to change my answer, I don't think they're necessarily evil, I just hate them now.

They are a corporation, fairly large one, which spent a lot of its time and money to seem like anything but one. Lately the magic as gone away quite a bit and people seemed to be shocked to find that they are indeed a major company under all the fairy dust. Evil? No, not really.
pretty much this

A corporation despite having all the legal rights of a person is not a person and therefore cannot be good or evil.

I agree.
With a new 2D, original, animated film coming out soon, maybe they'll get a little bit of their classic magic back. If they don't abuse it and make shoddy sequels five or more years later.

I'm pretty sure Walt's severed head is preserved in the Disney Vault where they feed him the souls of children....

No more so then any other major corporation. True, I'm not overly impressed with them for buying out Marvel; but whose to say that's actually going to change anything.

But hey, at least maybe we can see "Deadpool meets Hannah Montana" or something. I'd read it.

XD

But on topic... I wouldn't be surprised if Disney eventually bought their own island and formed their own nation and then took over the world... all in the name of children's happiness. So yes, a possibility for evil there.
