Corporations are out to make money. This does not make them evil. As far as I've heard, they haven't undermined any 3rd world countries yet/lately, so as corporations go they're far from being like Fiji.

On a different note: yay, now we get to see Superman vs Aladin...

All I know is that if you go by number of boats alone/flotilla, Disney has the fourth largest navy in the world.

That's something to worry about if you ask me. The Disney Magic cruise ship armed with exploding Micky Mouse pinatas...that's a security threat that NATO should be watching over.

No, not really.

I enjoyed their movies a lot during my childhood, and Pixar movies still amuse me greatly.

I don't really like Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers but no one's really forcing me to listen to them, so I have no reason to complain. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean it's not legit.

Anyway, in short, Disney is not evil.

If Disney tries to make the Marvel comics badasses family friendly, then yes.

What about the Chinese kids forced to work in their "Happy Funtime Factories!" to make merchandise for them to force down unsuspecting preteen's throats?

And people, you are all missing what could be the most awesome thing ever: Disney/Marvel crossovers!!

Think of meet: Deadpool meets Hannah Montana, X-Men vs the cast of High School Musical, it would be the only thing to make their junk actually watchable!

Yes, but only because they are legally required to be. Like any corporation (dun dun dun), they are guided by a set of rules and practices that they are lawfully required to follow. One of those rules is to do anything and everything that they can for the bottom line. That means that if they can get away with it, they are obligated to kill and old lady for the quarter under her sofa. If you take an accounting course, these laws are one of the first things you learn.

Walt was a bigot, all the teen stars (this is a P' ring thing) are void of sex and souls, only pixar creates good movies anymore. It's no longer that magical dream boat it was when i was little.

Bambie f*cked me up pretty bad too.

What about the people who buy that stuff? Are they evil too?

Anybody got a specific reason why Disney is evil? They made Hanna Montana is not a valid answer. She's profitable right now. Now if they were to recycle her into used teen star parts after her popularity fades, THEN I would say they are evil.

Right now they are just a corporation and because they are they seem less human and more evil. They really aren't evil. Shitty now, but not evil.

They messed themselves up. In the beginning, Disney made awesome animated shows and movies. Now it's all about satisfying teens with their lame boy bands, actors and actresses, Miley Cyrus, etc. Just please don't make Spider-Man dance with Snow White on ice, or The Hulk become a guitarist in a group with Captain America, Green Goblin as drummer and Doctor Doom the lead vocalist....

They are an evil super corporation. They will consume your souls.

I voted yes, since I don't take this very serious.

Exactly like our lovable Health Insurance Companies!!!

Yeah they just bought marvel to remake into their own small world kid freindly sunshine maker. They must be destroyed.

In all fairness, I am just pissed about marvel. I enjoy Disney and each trip their is delightful and special.

But DAMN! Marvel? WHY!?

The worst thing they ever did was bloody rape Shakespeare. Hamlet is such a cool, violent story, like a predecesor to Tarantino. Then they took that awesome shit, replace the characters with Lions and the violence with lack-luster stupid show tunes. I love musicals, Wicked, Dr. Horrible, Spring Awakening, but the Lion King is absolutely terrible.

I almost cant wait till Disney in 200 years time, when they'll remake awesomely violent films from today into crappy musicals. Could you imagine 'Oldboy' done by them, set in America with Oh Dae-Su bursting into song every five minutes - Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ.

Walt disney himself was a nasty man you know.

according to my tutors...
his father was one of the heads of the KKK and Walt Disney himself was a proud member,

he was a nazi,

when lots of his animators went on strike he hired the mafia to break there knee caps

and to burn their houses so they came back to work and most of his money (not the companies money but his) went to funding organised crime.

Seriously though, Disney isn't really evil, they've just gone terribly downhill.
