What I find funny is that so many people automatically assume Deadpool's going to turn into mickey Mouse or something, and the X-men are suddenly going to start singing Hakuna Matata. Disney also owns ABC, ESPN, and Pixar, and there is plenty of non-cartoony, kiddie fare over there. I'll admit, Hannah Monatana and the like drive me crazy, but as a whole, I think Disney's just fine. They're in the business of making money, and they do it well. I have a feeling that there will be no discernible change in content of Marvel's comics, since if Disney's smart, which they are, if you suddenly kiddiefied every comic, the fan base would pretty much disappear. So for the time being, I don't have an opinion on whether it's a bad thing or not. It just is. If Bruce Banner starts busting out into song every time he changes into the Hulk, then I'll be the first in line with a pitchfork and an angry mob. 'Til then, I'll just let them be.
