Poll: Is Fox news really that bad? or fox in general?

Ok i made a thread a while back about an nbc nightly new report where obama had a basketball game in the white hous that some people considered sexist and he had to explain himself.

I left out the fact that nbc had run the report and quite a few people said things about fox.

Now i don't watch the news hardly except what i pay attention to on the escapist, yahoo, and at work.

But it seems a lot of people hate fox with a passion and i have to ask Why.

Fox is using the right of freedom of speech and all the people who seem to hate fox wouldn't want to be censored would they.

I watched fox once and found it to be quite funny but i also found myself agreeing a little bit with what they were saying. (this will get me a lot of flack i just know it)

Fox is a entertainment channel, just like every other news channel and media outlet. It is there for comsumption, and trying to get more and more people to consume it. Though I watch Fox and enjoy the punditry in the evening, all news networks should be taken with a grain of salt.

Fox News is quite different from the Fox Network. Just look at The Simpsons and Family Guy. They make fun of Fox News all the time.

I watch the Fox channel every once in a while but the news on it are mostly about scares and opinions not news. If i wanted an opinion, I would go to the Escapist Forums and ask.

I actually saw a guy smear Obama about something (it was a while back and I don't remember the details though I think it was about that he wasn't born in America... which he was) though it was okay since that was not that much of a news program. However, right after that show an actual FOX news report comes up where they used the criticism that the guy just said and made this out of it: Some say that .....
