OT: Asking if invisible is a colour can be taken two ways. Do you mean colour as in the perception of sensory data from the eyes? In which case no, you cannot perceive 'invisible', so it isn't a colour. If you mean colour as the property of an object (That chair is blue), then also no. It is like asking if bald is a hair colour.

To give a much dumber answer than all the physics guys here:

I'd suggest that if you shot a red apple with an invisibility ray, it's still red, you just can't see it any more.

Same deal if you dropped a hat over it.

It's a status, like colour and size, but it's not colour. (or size)

No. Color is a property of light. Something invisible doesn't interact with light at all.

From what I understand (and this isn't much, as I don't read comics), he's essentially a failed attempt to clone Wolverine. He's got a healing factor like the yellow wonder, but he's rather deformed underneath the mask, and he's completely insane. For whatever reason, he hired out as a mercenary and earned the moniker "the Merc with the Mouth".

I really should read some of his comics though, because I love the way he breaks the fourth wall without rhyme or reason. I just never get around to it though.

Yeah, that's what I've heard too, my description is based on the godawful X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, kinda trolling, lol. I do need to read more comics...

If you want to get to know Deadpool, I suggest reading the Cable & Deadpool series. Not only do you get a solid understanding on just what Deadpool is, his interactions with Cable are some of the funniest I have encountered in any medium.

And I am in the no, invisible is not a color camp, by definition it can't be.

Depends on context. In the context of "the sky is blue" then no, invisible is not a colour.

In the context of James Bond's car comes in silver, green or invisible then I guess you could refer to it as a colour.

No, invisible is not a color. A color is created by what light reflects back to you. If none does and it all just somehow passes through then it's not a color because you can't actually see it.

Yes it can. Two colors, in fact: infrared and ultraviolet, depending on which end of the light spectrum it ends up reflecting (sometimes both).

Just because something doesn't emit/reflect visible light doesn't mean it isn't emitting/reflecting any light.

Invisible isn't a color, though colors can be invisible, as "The_Root_of_all_evil" said.

Invisible is all a matter of perspective. To us infra red and and UV rays are invisible.

Colours can be invisible (Infra-red, Ultraviolet), but Invisible isn't a colour.

Those are wavelengths of light, not colors. Infrared means lower than red because its frequency is lower than the lowest end of the visible spectrum, what we call red. Likewise, ultraviolet means higher than violet as its frequency is higher than the highest end of the visible spectrum, known as violet.

As for the OP, no "invisible" is not a color.

A colour is something we perceive when white hits an object and part of the light is absorbed making a different colour. For this reason Black is not a colour because we are technically seeing no light at all. Thus invisible could be considered the same because we are not perceiving the invisible object, just the stuff behind it.
