No, some of those Darwin awards are genuinely hilarious. And the term "Tragy-comedic" exist for a reason.

Laughing publicly about it - or worse yet in the face of the relatives - however...

I resent you saying I'm like those people who close the door, I have nothing but respect for the handicapped, and if I was there, I would sure as hell of kept that door open, who knows what happened anyway, she may have hit the wrong button or something..
My apologies Dan, clip brought up a lot of angering memories for me. Ugly feelings. That was uncalled for man. Hopw you can forgive me.
Of course it's fine, I knew full well this would be a heated issue with very powerful connotations for a lot of people, and if I had lost anyone this way or had anything that allowed me to relate on a personal level to anything in the clip, I would be angry too.

Laughter, amongst other things can be a psychological response to an accident that basically says "Thank fuck that wasn't me". So when we see stuff like that happen laughter is actually the natural response, so no, it's not wrong.

No. It's never wrong to laugh. If you laugh or make a joke out of somebody's death, it shows that you are full of life and all that jazz.

It's like that one guy on Gametrailers who said "That's what she gets for making a PS3 exclusive", followed by a trollface when somebody made a thread about that WoW casting director that was killed in a hit and run.

And yes, I laughed my balls off.

I personally think it's just wrong knowing that the guy died. Death is not a happy or laughing matter. Sure what he did was wrong but in the end who knows what really went through his mind that day ? Nobody, it could have been suicide, he could have been tired of his life. It's very much wrong to laugh at something like this, especially when you know that he died in the end.
DEATH is no laughing matter, no matter who it hits or how and where it occurs. Have compassion people. (Picture yourself in his shoes for one moment, would you be happy that people laugh at the way you died, even if it was stupid ?). Seriously, what has this world come to.
