Looks like a 3rd person shooter but HP style, fine by me! Could be a cool time sink. What do you think?

Looks like shit, to be honest.

Yet another game made to cash in more money from the movie. That's all it is, all it ever will be, and it will be forgotten before the year is over.

Magic does not involve laser machine guns... I think.

I wish they made a game/movie about Yahtzee's book, Mogworld. That would be epic.

Looks like they all sold their wands and replaced them with automated weaponry shooting tracers.

I suppose it looks like it could be sort of... competent at what little it does, which would be high praise for a movie game. But I really don't see it having any magic or creativity to it, or indeed much relation to the Potter world and magic outlined in the books.

The last Harry Potter game I really enjoyed was the GBC rpg. They stopped being fun about the time they tried copying the movies, which was about the time of Goblet of Fire. Rushing from scene to scene killed the movies and it's not fun in the games. A Harry Potter game shouldn't end in 3 hours.

As for DH part 2, it looks great. Team probably did the best they could with the time given. But if it plays anything like part 1, I think I'll pass. More characters to play around with is rarely a bad thing, but the lack of Luna Lovegood is a sin.

Two things.

1: If anyone here is actually familier with the harry potter books/movies - Am I the only one who finds it amusing that one of the main characters they advertised in that trailer was Seamus Finnigan, one of the least significant characters in the Harrry Potter storyline?

2: I get why the movie had to be split into two parts, because Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was a long fucking book, with a lot happening. But it really doesn't make sense to give the games the same treatment, considering the first game's storyline felt extremely rushed, and yet somehow managed to make more than half the game consist of filler in the form of unneeded fetch quests. I feel like if the game simply followed the entirity of Deathly Hallows it would've been better.

I always felt Harry potter could have a decent game series. Explore big open castle magic fighting and what not. But sadly it never came to be.

A Mogworld game would just be another MMORPG, but one that tries to make you hate yourself playing it. (remember Drylda?) A movie might not be bad.

I know. If they needed an unimportant character to play as, it should've at least been Dean Thomas. He at least had some signifigance later on in the series. I still like the idea of playing Minerva though.

WHY NO LUNA????

And damn it, when are we going to get to play as Voldemort? Don't try to tell me that wouldn't be a great alternate ending. Or maybe for the part where... (tries to think of ways to avoid spoilers) Uh... That stuff in King's Cross later in the book, they can have that instead of a Failure Is The Only Option boss fight.

Does anyone else find it incredibly funny how Rupert Grint tries to spew out his lines as fast as he can at the beginning?

OT:It looks a bit meh.

The games started being bad after the third. The GBC 2nd year RPG was fun, but really hard, and the third year game was... well I'll show you

It does seem kinda cool but it's just a huge cash-in. After the whole Pottermore thing they just seem to be milking it as much as possible.. Who wouldn't though? Money is money.

The character models are pretty rough, close but rough. Everything is way to dark and I don't remember them being able to fire off spells like an AK47.

It is OK I suppose. I won't be running out to get it. The combat looks like it would do the job fine, but instead of Seamus Finnigan, it would have been better to act as Snape or something, as he is carrying out his mission behind the scenes. I can't even remember what Seamus actually did in the seventh book.

It looks like any other Harry Potter movie game. Like crap.

Cover system? Blind fire? Rapid-fire magic wands?! It looks like a parody of either Harry Potter games, or Gears of War, or both.

I think there is potential for a game that focuses on the wizard duel aspect of the games. I also think this will not be it. It just looks retarded. When did the wands become energy weapons?
