An option for us non-american/northern hemasphere people would be nice, something like "nope, but Summer is coming along nicely".
...excuse me one second

I'm dumb.

I thought I had it all covered with the "we don't get snow" for the southern half of the planet but I forgetted that there IS another side of this planet where winter is not coming...

Hopefully the Edit loves me and an option has been added.

In west Norway at the coast it is not snowing just yet, as usual fall and winter is kicked off with plenty of rain and fog. I imagine snow won't come for a month or so yet, and I think I'm the only one looking forward to it X3. It is so pretty!

Grand Forks, North Dakota here. We've had some snow fall, but nothing's really managed to settle just yet. The winds are here though. The cold, discompassionate winds. The howling... the screaming... that biting sensation at the tip of your nose...

Back home in northern Norway there's apparently been a shitload of snow already though. Pretty normal for this time of year up there.

Magic City in North Dakota here. We got snow today but it didn't stick. Our 6 months of winter is coming.
Another North Dakotan here, and I can confirm that what both of these people say is correct. The ground hasn't frozen yet, and the temperature is hovering at around freezing, so I'd give it a week or two before we start getting any serious snow fall.

I just hope that we have a really slow thaw again like we did this year though. Would really hate to see another nasty flood.

It was 27F on my way to work and I had to scrape frost of my windows, but no snow yet. It is coming though.

Michigan here, It hasn't snowed yet but its already around 35 in the mornings, so snow times are fast approaching.

And I can't wait either. I love the snow! :D

I get all giddy like a little kid when I wake up to 2 ft. of awesome outside my window.

If we get a good packing snow I'm definately making a fort!

...Shutup! I know I sound like a five year old! It's still fun okay! XD

The only real downside is that I have to drive in it because Michigan can't clear roads for shit... or be sensible and close things when they can't :/

Montreal, Quebec here. No snow yet but it's pretty damn windy and overcast today. We don't usually get snow until late Nov/early Dec but anything can happen, really.

I live in Texas. It has not snowed and it rarely does.

Granted, the last couple years it did. Only for like a week then poof. Gone again.

One time we had snow in March. The darnest thing.

It hasn't yet and I hope it doesn't...at least not a lot. If it snows too much it becomes possible to get snowed in and I won't be able to get to work.

Norway here. It is my first winter in Bergen, so not entierly sure when I should expect the snow, but I doubt we'll get snow before November. However, it's raining a lot at the moment, and it's getting ***** cold in the morning, so we'll see.

It's still about 22C here in Belgium. And no, that's not normal.

It's funny actually, one year it can snow on my birthday (the 21st of october) and the next it can be 20+. Weather in the Low Countries is random like that.

We usually get snow at the end of November and it stays all the way 'till January*. It really depends on how big the snow is.

* I'm living in Romania so we have all four seasons.

Not over the past couple of years, we've been having colder winters and hotter summers over the past 5 years.

OP: No, it's only October, give us a chance!

Still it doesn't snow here anything near as much as in Canada/some parts of the US. We've had maybe a week of snow spread out over the year as far as I can remember...but I am quite far south.

No, it doesn't, but that's not really a surprise, UK has a very unique climate.
And I'm also quite far south, but there used to be either no snow or very little, not enough to settle.

It's going to be 80 degrees here tomorrow in Dallas. It rarely snows here (at least in the five years I've been here), which is one of the few things about this place that I'm totally cool with. I go home to Pennsylvania for the holidays anyway, so I can see my snow there, and not have to deal with it all winter. :)
