For the most part, yes.
Throwing your fist at someone isn't going to solve anything. In fact, most of the time it's only going to exacerbate the problem.
But people do it anyway. Why? Because they are stupid animals with little to no self control.
I actually struggle to understand how some people think being able to harm another person makes you more "manly" or increases your worth as a person, or whatever. It makes no sense.
Oh yeah, sure, you're the greatest at swinging your fists around like a chimp. And what does that contribute to society as a whole?
It's not changing anything for the better. It's not helping anyone. So what's so great about it?
It just proves you are the biggest, stupidest ape of the bunch. Well fucking done you.
Of course, there are some times it is necessary. For instance, self-defence, or in the defence of others.
If you or someone else is being mugged, or something, then it is perfectly reasonable to take down the attacker physically.
There is no other way to do things. You can't really talk a presumably armed mugger down. They have the upper hand. If you get in their way, they could seriously harm you. Maybe even kill you.
Otherwise, however, you are just being a dumb animal. Throwing your limbs about because you're too thick to control yourself and/or deal with the situation without anyone getting hurt.
