Poll: Is PsP dead? Be honest.

Im slightly biased against the PsP so I want to know what everyone else thinks. I thought PsP died a few months after launch and has been the biggest fail ive ever seen. But now with the PsP GO or whatever and digital distribution is the PsP still / now dead??

It's not dead it's just gone to the farm to live with another family who can take better care of it and give it all sorts of room to romp and play with it's friends the atari, sega saturn and the dreamcast

The PSP died quite a while ago. It died for me after playing the remake of Final Fantasy II but it died for everybody else after they beat God of War. Now Sony plans to revive it by releasing the PSP GO ... which doesn't take the UMDs nobody bought so if the people decide to 'upgrade' they will have to re-buy the games they already didn't buy in order to play them.

The PSP Go looks cool because sliders are cool but the whole; you-must-download-to-play thing seems like a step backwards to me. "Oh you say you spent $40 on God of War unchained? Well then I suppose you wouldn't mind spending another $40 to play it on your hip-N-trendy new PSP Go!"

PSP is fine, not spectacular, but average and happily living out it's life in some suburb.

PSP Go, nobody knows, but with any luck it'll get strangled at birth. It'll be bad for everyone from the consumer up if that thing's a success.

Its not dead. Its no DS but the PSP's library is actually improving.

Though I think the only good games it has are ports and spinoffs of popular PS2/3 games.

The PSP Go almost killed the PSP with it's Download only service, but the PSP seems to have survived it well.

I picked on up a few months ago for cheap and have been working my way through the line up. I'm looking forward to sticking some ps 1 classics on it too. And being able to load MP4's on it makes it great for a long bus journey. Maybe in six months when I've burned through all the good games I might agree, but I think it has more life than the DS which I have not touched in about a year.

Not necessarily, Wipeout Pulse was great. But still, there's nothing wrong with that.
