Is there one that involves your own harem, hot- spring bubble- baths and eternal massages in a castle in the Himalayas?

I'm completely non-religious, I find the idea of religion to be a bad one overall. Religion has caused many problems over the years and I think we're at a point of development where we no longer need it to tell us what is or isn't right.

If one religion was right then a large percentage of the population of the planet would be wrong (a much larger percentage than would be right), that seems very unlikely. In fact, so unlikely that I would charge that religion is a kind of organized insanity that makes people believe things that are completely impossible or at least extremely unlikely for no real reason.

Yes.

All hail Freya, the Norse Goddess of fertility and sex.

She slept with an entire ship of warriors. Then lead them to smash their craft to pieces on a reef, killing them all. (PMS much?)

But seriously.

No, there is not.

Namely because it's all a bastardization of past events and abuse the vulnerabilities human beings suffer when dealing with the unknown; namely, the beginning and end of life, the universe, and everything.

No, every religion has the same right to existence as the next one.
None of them can be proven in any way, thus, none are any more correct than the others.

If I were an agnostic I'd tell you that, meh, maybe the ancient Egyptians had it right all along. I am not, so I won't. Although I just did. AAAAH, paradox!

Thank you. :D
As I am jewish, I do believe there can be more than one path.
I don't think (the)God(s) would make things linear for mankind.

Religion. Never underestimate the power of idiots in large groups.
But seriously? I agree with the others, theres no true religion, just what works for you. They all have their own values. Honestly, if you were to choose the best religion, it would be just values and morals from all of them, minus the bowing to imaginary friends mumbo jumbo. So, atheism, but with morals and, you know, not considered evil by 90% of the world.

Note, arent highly successful but also evil corporation owners atheist? If so, sweet...

No, just believe what you want and don't bother with religion. That is unless your beliefs are the same as a religion, in which case that would be the right one for you.

Souplexism, everything in the religion boils down to what would be the most awesome.

What about Anne Frank? Or the billions of other ostensibly good people that have lived lives being victimized by those who didn't possess their good nature.
That's the great thing about religion: You'll be rewarded for enduring a shitty life and lots of suffering in the afterlife, while the bosses of the religious institution enjoy life in their very worldly palaces. Meh.

Whatever religion makes you happiest is probably the one to go for.

All religions are designed to bring security and peace of mind, although man has warped his creation into a scam. Originally, suicide was not a major sin, although this was changed so the cattle wouldn't take the easy way out.

So basically
Idea is nice.
Implementation isn't too good.
Alot like Communism really

I lol'd.

Anyways, of course there's a chosen religion; whichever one you like the most.

But, as Calobi said, mine is the right one.

If God/Goddess/Noodliness didn't like different flavors of worship like people enjoy different flavors of ice cream, they wouldn't exist. Follow what speaks to your heart and just do your best to be a good person.
