There is no difference at all. Its only for PS3 fanboys who wish to flame 360 that their console is stronger. It may be but there isnt a noticeable difference really

LOL @ people who said yes
Spken like someone who's truly never seen the difference.
There is a difference, it's just not enough to be a selling point.
Truly. I only noticed a difference when some gaming site did a side-by-side comparison. And even then, I thought "Is that it? The rocks look nicer. Fascinating..."
Anyone saying the difference is huge is just trying to be a prat, pretending their eyes are so trained that they can tell that the iris of someone's eyes is better rendered on the 360.

i hate how people say that the 360 is the superior console, seeing as the only good exclusives to it is the Gears of War series as far as i can name.

In short, no not at all. I like the games on the xBox 360 much more that graphics will ever sway me to the PS3

When a game is developed for both systems, there is no difference really. However, when it's made exclusively for the Ps3 (unfortunately not that often) the difference is quite noticeable.

Graphics aren't going to get much better. The only difference is game preference and price.

Not really. Don't get me wrong, the Cell processor is impressive, but for 3D rendering, they perform about the same, and the 360 is easier to program for, hence the better game catalog.

I agree with everyone who says the games should make the difference, not the graphics. That said, IF you were to base your purchase strictly on graphics alone, [a href=http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33469.html?type=flv]this video[/a] showed a clear difference between the two systems, at least to me.

One should never put to much stress on graphics. With the very small difference between the graphics of most games on the two consoles, no one should use it as a selling point.

However the typical console idiot is obsessed with graphics so even the slightest difference in graphics is a bragging right to them. So in a way it is a selling point, but not to me.

It takes a while until they actually design games using the console's potential - early PS2 games had terrible graphics, by the end of it's lifespan, though, we were getting some pretty awesome looking stuff, though.

Using both on a 57 inch 1080p Flat screen, I can say at least for myself, no. I never really notice that much of a difference. There are definitely differences between games meant to be released exclusively then ported, but a multi-platform release never really seems to have enough of a difference, at least for me. There usually is a small graphical upgrade, but not enough to warrant buying the PS3 over the 360.

But again, that is my personal opinion. You may have your own which differs from mine. Good for you, I respect that you have your own opinion so long as you respect that I have mine. If you don't respect that I have mine, I don't give a shit what you think anyway. I'm simply adding my opinion to the matter based on the knowledge that I have observed first-hand.

there isant any graphic differance and if there is its verry minor

but seriously go for the console with games you think you will like not the one with better graphics

cuase first of all i was considering getting a playstation 3 after hearing about how quickly the xbox's brake after 3 months you know what that epic ball shit mines still working fine after 2 and a half years so go for the one with games u whant treat it right and you will be well off
ha, yea, funny that, how i got one of the first gen 360s, which had a death rate of 80% within the first 6 months... guess what? it died on Xmas last year, not cause of RRoD, but cause of a power surge that killed a few of my other appliances (thank god the Pc wasn't plugged in)

No graphical difference, i would say, and even if there was it is negligible because graphics are reaching the peak of its potential, soon, next gen games are going to have similar graphics to the ones that are available now. For me, its about the games, i would take an 8-bit Halo over an ET that looks life-like and is in 3-D absolutely anyday(considering gameplay is not altered at all)

No difference. The graphical differences between Multi-console games are simply due to the fact that the PS3 is so hard to program for, and even then most of the differences are barely noticeable. Hardware-wise, the graphics are hardly a selling point.
