Yeah, this is hilarious, and I'm a pastor's kid, not that I plan to show my dad this, but I imagine he gets this kind of stuff e-mailed to him all the time. I do understand being offended by this though.
It was bloody amusing. It's wrong in the fact that yeah, it's implying God came down and did the deed with Mary, when really he would've just been all 'insert sperm into uterus via special ninja Godly powers'.
But then so was Family Guy with their shot at Joseph on his wedding night. It's just funny.
For the record I'm very spiritual and in tune with God and I didn't find this offensive... I found it offensively hilarious XD Some people will get their knickers in a twist about it and I can see why, but for me it's just an amusing take on it.

Some denominations hold that Mary remained a virgin her entire life. This could well explain why.
I'm a somewhat religious person myself, and I found it pretty funny. Certainly not worth throwing a fuss over, so long as they're not nailing up copies of it in front of the church day-care or something.

I'm really liking this church! Goodness, last church I was near, seemed like believing in God was only a secondary requirement; first and foremost, you had to have a stick up your ass! Nice to see someone who can laugh at themselves a bit.
First time in a long time I read anything from a church website, but I actually took the time to read some of the discussion at http://www.stmatthews.org.nz/nav.php?sid=512&id=1041 - there's actually some well-thought-out stuff there. I don't agree with all of it, certainly, but some if it's quite sensible. If I ever got back into the faith, this is the kind of church I'd want to be a member of.

Glad I live here in NZ. If I saw the sign with my own eyes I'd show my approval with a great resounding "nice!".
