As an Englishman, I really don't find him that funny (even less so in recent episodes), as he just seems to have a poor mix of English humour and Family Guy's randomness which results in his "criticisms" making very little sense and telling me nothing about the game in question other than the fact he apparently doesn't like it.

Maybe it's because I see his sort of humour every day.

How does everyone else here feel about him and his sense of humour?

TL;DR: Everything he does is done better by traditional British comedy. ( Example: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-it-crowd/4od )

He used to be, but now he is uninspired and just makes piss jokes. also I didn't realize it was traditional British comedy...
edit: This guy is a lot better. He reviews games before they come out.

He certainly has his moments, traditional British comedy is great but everyone's seen it all before. He doesn't really use traditional British comedy assuming you mean stuff like Red Dwarf/Blackadder, he just uses rants and non-sequiters.

I find him funny, and I'm English.
Also, he's not really meant to be reviewing the game, as far as I can understand, he's more paid to rant about it.

Personally I still find him funny and every episode usually has one joke which I find hilarious.

I find him funny.

I think it's also important to udnerstand that Zero Punctuation isn't meant to be a comprehensive criticism of a game. It's more like one third review and two parts entertainment that's vaugely review based. I think it's obvious from his articles that he knows what he's talking about when it comes to videogame criticism though.

That and I genuinely do find them amusing.

It's the combination of vitriol, audience hating, offensiveness and odd situations. (Odd situations are more British sitcoms, but whatever.)

I like British comedy so yeah i love Hale and Pace Blackadder and Zero Punctuation its funny to see another different sort of review where its not all serious and they have a good laugh in instead of just a bored Reviewer. i also enjoy his insults at the Wii.

Why I keep watching his video's if you watch a few of them and find some of those pure gems that he says, cant think of any off the top of my head but we all know they are out there and there are alot of them.

Yes, he is. But I honestly think that he doesn't deserve the praise he gets. Sure, he is funny most of the time, but ZP is in no way the best show on the Escapist. In my opinion.
Please don't flame me

I understand that, it's just that it's became even less review and more "rant about X topic until change of topic". It's the worst in the Wii reviews.

I second that but isn't he a critic rather than reviewer lol.

He has his moments, but the images he depicts are funny in there own. It makes more sense if I played the video game before viewing the video as, for some reason, it just makes the video better and funnier in my eyes. I know that it certainly worked for the Alan Wake Video.

It's subjective; while I personally find him funny, it really depends on your taste. I love his rants though - he comes out with some hilarious stuff, and his success speaks for itself. (Although that's a stupid argument from me, seeing as Alan Carr is also regarded as funny...)

He's funny.

Zero Punctuation ebbs and flows a little, but you can't be at 10 all the time. It's far better if you've played a game before you watch his video on it.
