It doesn't matter what he does I hope he continues. He's an artist not afraid to say what he shouldn't be saying and I respect him for making a public appearance without a bulletproof car.

As a game satirist he does rather well though his material is lacking at times. If anything we all go through stints in ideas to work with, anyone who has walked into a comedy club or even worked on skits knows this. There is a wealth of titles to work with in this industry however. Perhaps if Yahtzee considered reaching backwards *conjures up image of him pulling a copy of Dune II or LOCUS out of his buttocks* and did a skit about those games or anything else that's older he might find some inspiration in the past. I'm honestly impressed that he's gone on for this long still providing me with a chuckle every now and again. It's not that he's "not funny" because he absolutely is, it's just there's only so much you can say in about five minutes and to concisely but humorously get your point across is quite a task that he's managed to deliver upon. I sort of think to a lesser extent, that Yahtzee is Jay Leno's Doppleganger if that makes any sense. You have to respect the amount of work it takes to actually do what he does but at the same time loathe the execution. In short I would say Yahtzee is far from done not by a long shot and I look forward to his future rants.

Am I the only one who got "HERPADERPA I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT" from this post?

Added http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-it-crowd/4od to the first post as an example. Everyone loves the IT Crowd.
Yes... yes you are...

Also when you say Classic British Comedy, I'm thinking more along the lines of Fawlty Towers, Monty Python etc...

I think he IS funny, but I've been watching him for a long time now and I think it's getting pretty samey along with most things. He still comes out with gems, but I no longer rush off to show my friends his videos. Probably still as good as ever, but I've grown some immunity to him.

IT Crowd is harking back to Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Red Dwarf etc in a modern setting. Hence the laugh track.

I enjoy stuff like the Eragon Sporkings, too.

I find it funny in the same way I find Simpsons funny. It is worth a chuckle and still entertaining.

Yes, he is. But I honestly think that he doesn't deserve the praise he gets. Sure, he is funny most of the time, but ZP is in no way the best show on the Escapist. In my opinion.
Please don't flame me
Watch his older stuff. He was very clever and very hilarious. His older stuff makes me laugh still. I am not going to say his is the best show on the escapist (I think LRR is) but his show brought the most escapists here.
Uh... It may not be the best show on the Escapist, but I have seen every episode to date. And yes. LRR is probably the best, although it may be over taken by Extra Credit
