Umm... yes?
I mean, I wouldn't take his word, yae or nay, for a game, but sure, he normally gives me a giggle. I think maybe the effect of his hilarity has lessened now that I'm so used to it, but striaght after visiting Gamespot I go to Yahtzee, sure, just to see him bag all the games other reviewers drool over (who wasn't dying at the end of his Halo 3 review?)

He used to be. The limeric review of Wolfenstein was one of his last works that I enjoyed.

Still funny to me. I don't think I am unique in saying that without Yahtzee/Zero Punctuation I wouldn't be on escapistmagazine.com right now making this post.

Sure, but I think he's got to work at it a bit more.
The dick jokes are getting a bit "been there, done that".

As an Englishman, I really don't find him that funny (even less so in recent episodes), as he just seems to have a poor mix of English humour and Family Guy's randomness which results in his "criticisms" making very little sense and telling me nothing about the game in question other than the fact he apparently doesn't like it.

Maybe it's because I see his sort of humour every day.

How does everyone else here feel about him and his sense of humour?

TL;DR: Everything he does is done better by traditional British comedy.
Umm no. What you blatantly say at the beginning of the post is that you don't understand what he is saying. This contradicts what you say about seeing his sort of humor every day. So either you see his type of humor every day and do not understand it or in fact it is not traditional Brit humor. These videos are a package, one unit, not something you divide into goat humor and penis humor or whatever. Because you don't understand what's going on in them does not make them less worthy than something else. I've gotten hours of lulz and insightful opinion from ZP though perhaps people with less exposure to trivial knowledge might have a harder time than others understanding his tangents.

British humor has a notorious and well deserved reputation. That being said, what Yahtzee does that is better that traditional British comedy is be Relevant...

I still find Yahtzee as funny as when I first watched him.. Seriously, I'm not understanding everyones opinions that he's getting stale... I think it's just the cool thing now to hate Yahtzee.

I think it's also important to udnerstand that Zero Punctuation isn't meant to be a comprehensive criticism of a game. It's more like one third review and two parts entertainment that's vaugely review based. I think it's obvious from his articles that he knows what he's talking about when it comes to videogame criticism though.

That and I genuinely do find them amusing.
you just hit the nail on the head, or, however you say it.

I find it funny in the same way I find Simpsons funny. It is worth a chuckle and still entertaining.

Yes, he is. But I honestly think that he doesn't deserve the praise he gets. Sure, he is funny most of the time, but ZP is in no way the best show on the Escapist. In my opinion.
Please don't flame me
Watch his older stuff. He was very clever and very hilarious. His older stuff makes me laugh still. I am not going to say his is the best show on the escapist (I think LRR is) but his show brought the most escapists here.

I can't even smile when I watch his reviews anymore. I found him funny on his first couple of videos and then he just died down. I just finally gave up watching about 3 weeks ago (after a long time of just watching because), since I don't think I'll ever find him funny again.

Funny enough to spend five minutes of your week on, I'd say. There's really no reason to not just watch them.
I don't really laugh while watching his videos anymore, but they do amuse me.

In the recent times... not really. Few days ago i've also made a thread on that subject... i, personally, think he's not as witty as he used to be. Too much dick jokes, too few metaphors and puns.

Am I the only one who got "HERPADERPA I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT" from this post?

Added http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-it-crowd/4od to the first post as an example. Everyone loves the IT Crowd.

Goddamn, lots of ZP threads around at the moment.

'Should Yahtzee review X game'

'What will Yahtzee review next!'

'Why didn't Yahtzee reply to my stalker messages?'

Anyway... on topic:

'Is Yahtzee funny?'

If Yahtzee wasn't considered funnny by many this thread wouldn't exist.

I still think Yahtzee is funny. I don't really understand the problem. If he can make me chuckle, I count that as a success. That being said, the Resident Evil 5 review is still my favorite where he rants about your partner being scarier than the monsters.

I must point out that I am hard to amuse at times and even at those times, ZP has never failed. But this comming from a guy who has "MP & Holy Grail" sitting on a golden pedestal next to my bed.
