1998 Honda Accord, and although I haven't had it long (Not even a year), it hasn't had one issue! But, then again, I'm not totally aware of its history (My parents bought the thing, so... XD)

Don't have one.
Why isn't that the option.
People on the escapist need to learn that there's always people jumping into topics they have nothing to do with <.<

Yes. I can always rely on my car to not exist.
Me too, so far, guess sometime in the adulthood when I have the finances I might get one.
Learning commenced.

No car option added to the poll.

1995 honda accord reliable, impervious to rust(somehow)survived an accident with the only viable sign being minor scratches to the paint. powerful engine

the only downside is that it swallows gas as if there was an unlimited supply, i almost cant go anywhere without refuelling... and as some of you may know gas is not exactly cheap

I have an ancient(older than me, so i think it's almost 20 years old) bicycle, and it it generally quite reliable, but over the past year, i've had to replace all the gears. although that is fairly reasonable, since I ride it nearly everywhere.

Haha, Great!

Never thought you'd actually reply to that :)
Thanks OP!

My 2010 Dodge has only given me one strange issue that cost nothing to fix. So I guess it's been 99.5% reliable. So far so good with my first foray into an American car. I've only had Toyotas up until that point. Hell, I've even ditched the Japanese bike for a Harley. It's off to a shaky start but that's due to the dealer and not the manufacturer.

2010 Toyota Corolla, only problem I have had in 2 years has been a slow leak in the tire that I had to get plugged because a nail or something got stuck in it, but that could happen to any car.

I am either leasing or buying new cars and selling/trading them in after 4 years tops. I am not going to have a repeat of the nightmare my '98 Camaro gave me where every possible thing broke. Or when my '89 Jimmy snapped the front tie-rod, which would have killed me if it had happened 5 minutes sooner while I was on the freeway.

FYI Chrysler and Dodge use plastic gears in their transmission (used to work in a factory that made them). So don't be surprised if it starts giving you trouble.

In my family the Shit cars have been an 84 rx7, a 90 eclipse, a 94 stealth, and an 02 elantra.

The great reliable ones are a 94 jeep Cherokee with 400k (never broken down)
and an 07 charger (my current).

Good old domestics.

I don't have a car, but my Sym XS 125 motorbike has given me no issues. It is only 6 months old though, and has like 200 miles on the clock, so that's probably why.

My parents 2005 Vauxhall Meriva isn't that great a car though. There's never been a major issue, but plenty of small niggling complaints for a relatively young car. They're looking to get a 5 door Renault Clio, but a decent second hand one those is rarer than leprechauns.

I have literally gone to the moon and back with it and it doesn't want to stop. Brought some rocks too.

95' Mercedes C-220 Sedan. It's not mine, my father owns it, but I drive it.
The car only has 3 problems. None are major (yet).
Its an automatic, with a center shifter. It can have trouble going into drive, but so long as I don't just fling it down it 97% will engage.
Steering wheel isn't straight, slightly offset to the left, but it doesn't affect actual steering and won't develop into a greater problem.
Lastly it's going to need a new tie rod and front bearings soon. Somewhere in 6 months, if I start diving more often.

For being 17 years old and having almost 200k it's doing amazing. Thank-you German engineering.
Actually it does have one other problem. Since it was manufactured in Germany, most of the parts that have writing on them (caps and such), are written in German. So checking fluids I just need to be double sure, good thing I know stuff about cars haha.

'93 Honda Civic CX.

Still runs fine. Still gets really good mileage (especially on the freeway). Not as family friendly as I would like since I now have a family, but it's been a great car. My next one will probably be a Honda as well since I've had such good luck with it.

It's a 96' Volvo and the engine still doesn't rattle or clank. The body has taken a beating, and the seats are starting to come apart, but the engine still puts out the same as the day I bought it.

Not terribly sporty at all, but I'm genuinely impressed with its reliability; it got reasonably good fuel economy too until about 2 years ago (faulty oxygen sensor).
(Helps that it's actually easy to work under the hood; and the fuse box is right there at the top under the hood instead of under the steering assembly)

1997 Toyota Corolla Sedan.

It's pretty reliable, but some maintenance is obviously required on a car that old.
Nothing major that I cannot fix myself though.

It needed some overhaul when I first got it, but it was well worth it since I got the car for free.
All in all I'm quite pleased with it.

It's going to be replaced soon though, newer car is always better.
